This was the second time I make an appointment at Vera to have the backup camera recall replaced. First time in March, when I got there they said sorry we have no replacement cameras in stock. Why did you have the backup camera recall replaced. First time in March, when I got there they said sorry we have no replacement cameras in stock. Why did you no let me know before I drove 20-30 minutes to get there. OK, a waisted trip. Not happy but will wait till the new ones arrived. On April 26th I called and made another appointment for the next day, April 27th 7:30 am. They said it would take about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. They assured me they had 10 cameras in stock, so no problem there. I got there at 7:30 am, they checked me in, nice, friendly. At 10 am (2-1/2 hours later) I went to check, not done yet. Again 10:30 not done yet, by 11 (3-1/2 hours later) I was not happy so when I went back to check, they said... sorry but we have an issue with the camera and connection and we are not able to fix it today. They said they tried two different ones and neither worked. So.... it was funny that my old one worked fine, no issue with the connection there, and when they gave me the car back, it was still working fine, no problem. Did they really have the camera in stock is my question? Did they have other cameras but not the one for my car. Yes, in the end they gave me a peace offering which is the reason for the high rating I gave you above. Not a very good way to treat a Cadillac customer when we are less than 6 months to the end of our lease. More
