Contacted service dept Tuesday morning and asked if car was towed in would it be looked at. Was informed that it was possible. Wednesday morning I was informed that the car would be looked at that afternoon. I explained that I was in Florida looking at apt for my son and needed the car. Mike set up a Lyft driver to take me to Avis to rent a car. I was dropped off at the dealership. Another Lyft driver took me over to Avis. Mike told me to speak with Dave at Avis. Dave couldn’t be bothered to speak w me but I got a car and went about my business. Thursday morning I’m told that the car was scheduled to be LOOKED at. Hmm. Okay. I am called back and informed that it is in fact the shifter cable. But wait, there’s more. Brakes and rotors should be changed. I declined the brakes and rotors and informed the car will be ready later that afternoon. Picked up the car. I must say that everyone was very friendly and asked if we were all set or needed assistance. Took rental car back and they charged me for 2 days as it was over 24 hrs that I had the car. This was beyond frustrating for me More
