I have been looking for a vehicle for a long time. I have looked at dealerships closer to home, but was not satisfied. I recently purchased a new Ford Raptor, to tell you that I was surprised with my experience would be an understatement. Having been in the auto industry for a decade and a half you get a pretty good feel fo I was surprised with my experience would be an understatement. Having been in the auto industry for a decade and a half you get a pretty good feel for the "gray" areas of the business. My deal was fair and was conducted primarily over the phone after I called regarding a vehicle had found online. My salesperson was courteous, never misleading, and proactive with the entire process from greeting me at the door to delivery. The finance experience was excellent, I expected to see a bump in the finance rate, not there. Same bump in price of warranty or other back end products....nope. To my surprise this was the most up front best experience I have ever had. I have sold so many vehicles in my life under the falsehood of what a good deal really is, that this experience really hit home with me. It's no wonder Vernon sells cars all over the Permian Basin and West Texas. You guys deserve it. Anyone that is not shopping with you is forfeiting the opportunity to get the best deal and the best experience in the Automotive Industry. More

After much research and hearing what a great place Vernon Auto Group was to work with, we are not having that experience! 1/13/14- We made contact with Vernon Auto Group about the purchase of a new vehicl Auto Group was to work with, we are not having that experience! 1/13/14- We made contact with Vernon Auto Group about the purchase of a new vehicle. We received a reply back the same day. 1/13/14- Again same day we were told that the vehicles sold on the lot were not California emissions certified. So we inquired about placing a special order for California emissions (no extra charge) on the vehicle. *You see we got the auto groups name from a gentleman in California who had picked up his truck from there and had nothing but great things to say.* 1/14/14- We were informed that we could go online thru "Build my Ford" and build the vehicle to the exact specifics we wanted and that Vernon could price order units aggressively. 1/15/14 - We received verification again that once we built the vehicle to our specs we would be given an invoice price. 1/16/14 - Eager to earn our business Vernon contacted us to ask if there was any questions we had and to follow up on our build sheet status. 1/16/14- we replied with some follow on questions to which they answered. 1/16/14- We SUPPLIED our build sheet to Vernon Ford as well as sent an email to confirm and address our time line of when we would take delivery of said vehicle. 1/16/14- Vernon CONFIRMED receipt of the build sheet and turned into the inventory manager. 1/18/14- We received an email to confirm if what was on the build sheet was correct. 1/18/14- We confirmed. 1/20/14 - We were NOW told we need to put down a deposit and fill out an application in order to place the order. 1/20/14 - We replied with "We are financing thru our credit union and have no issue with the deposit." 1/21/14- We received an email saying the vehicle will be able to be ordered they are just waiting for the inventory manager, as well as told they were going to send a copy of the build sheet on the 22nd for us to sign. 1/21/14- Vernon asked for a copy of our pre-approval letter from the credit union. 1/22/14 - We confirmed our pre-approval letter from Credit union and faxed a copy to Vernon Auto Group. (letting them know that it is good for 45 days. Vernon had let us know in a prior email that is the time line for the vehicle to be built as well). So now we are on a time crunch. 1/23/14- We had to contact Vernon Auto group to confirm they received our fax of the pre-approved credit union letter and as to whether the inventory manager had returned. 1/23/14- They replied with yes they did receive it, but inventory manager was still out so the owner was going to be working on getting the vehicle built 1/24/14- We received an email stating that now the PRESIDENT of VERNON AUTO GROUP was working the build of our Ford. Orders are accepted on Tuesday and we should know something by Monday. 1/27/14- Late Monday afternoon we contact Vernon to see how things were shaping up as the next day is TUESDAY which we know is the supposed "ORDER DATE". 1/27/14 - We were told there is a call into "Colin" to see where he is on the build. As soon as he lets them know where he is on the build we will be contacted. 1/28/14- LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON - SUPPOSED ORDER DATE- we receive email stating: "Colin has put in a call to our representative at Ford to verify we can place your order. He is looking into it and will let us know as soon as he knows anything." SO our order by Tuesday date has come and gone. We're on a time line of 45 days which now looks like we're not going to make. And our question is "Why did it take 7 days from the initial reply of "we can order your vehicle to now, we need to call our rep and make sure"????!?!?!? " We feel as if we have started all over again... We are highly DISAPPOINTED and FRUSTRATED to say the least! Especially when they state they provide the easiest, most efficient and enjoyable buying and ownership experience ANYWHERE! < #1 Ford dealer in the NATION> A reputable business would NOT treat customers like this EVER! We will update if any corrections are made to this dispairing discrepancy. More
I was very impressed with the quickness I was given when buying my new car. Jr. kept in very good contact with me thru the whole buying processes. I flew in from Monroe la. because the deal they made me was way better than I could get local. they met me @ the airport with the truck it was very clean and everything I had expected. they filled it up with fuel close to the airport where most dealers would have before they left the dealership all the paperwork was ready and in order in less than 15 min after I hit the ground I had all the papers signed and was on my way back home. also they kept checking in on me during my flight there.the lady that did all the paperwork was very friendly I don't remember her name and after the sale they checked and made sure I was satisfied with everything I would highly recommend Vernon Auto Group to anyone I went close to 500 miles to get my truck and it was well worth the trip they had also sent me all the paperwork via email for me to look at and answered all my questions so when I got there everything was ready the gentleman that met me with it was very friendly and did a great job explaining it all to me like I said less than 15 min I was gone and that was after I had looked and checked the truck out also it was not a for it was a HD2500LTZ More
This is just an outstanding dealership! If you want to buy a new truck, car, whatever you want! If it has 4 wheels they can probably get it! I hate those guys! I drove 6 hours to get to Vernon Auto Group, I'd drive further just to know I'd get the same satisfaction on a vehicle purchase again. All the staff at Vernon Auto Group are just great people who make you feel at home! They have my future business! I'll be referring as many people as I can. More
I looked at several dealerships before I bought my new GMC Acadia. Adrian Chenault was great to keep in touch with me, but I never felt like he was pushing me to buy something just so he could make the GMC Acadia. The dealership did not have exactly what I wanted, so he looked for what I wanted and emailed information to me about several choices. I had the Acadia in just a few days after I made my choice. The price was the best one that I found anywhere that I looked in person or online! Adrian was great, and he even brought some extra keys to me the day after I bought the Acadia because it was too late to have them made the day I bought the vehicle. I thought that he went above and beyond his job! I will definitely go back when I need to buy another vehicle! I couldn't get the right brand purchased/considered above. GMC is not a choice there, but it is a required field. I didn't consider any of the choices given, but I had to choose one. More

My experience with the Vernon Auto Group personnel was very good. I called prior to arrival and the vehicles I had requested to see were setting in place for my review when I arrived. I asked to see another vehicle and it was brought for my view almost immediately. The staff was courteous and made me feel comfortable while waiting for the vehicle to be serviced.
