Dishonest service department Took my car in twice because my service engine soon light was on and they never figured out why. Last time it was in I asked them to change my oil. I got it back on a Thursday and that Sunday I went out of town. I got a warning to add oil to the car. My husband pulled over and looked under the car and saw lots of oil under. Had to have it towed back to my house, then towed to Vernon Auto Group. When they looked at it, it started out as a $200 fix, next time an $800 fix, then a $3000 fix. When we went to see first hand what was wrong, the mechanic started telling us and things he was saying was not what we were told. The manager, Kim, said it was miscommunication. We will not be back. I have always heard great things about Vernon Auto Group, that's why I bought a car from y'all. And the sales people were great. But the service department is lacking. More

Not impressed I called the Vernon Auto Service because I bought my Chrysler 300 there. I tried to get ahold of sevice center no answer. I called and asked for Steve he's the rep that sold me my car. He got me thru to service...while speaking to service the man didn't act like he wanted to help me. The dip stick for my oil is broke off and cannot be pulled out. He says he will speak to manager...Calls me back says it will be three weeks before a dipstick can be gotten. I said thats fine but what if you can't get it out? Can you get part and still fix it? Again he says he has to speak to manager he will call back...That was two days ago....still no call back. More

Ripoff Auto Group We have bought 3 cars and trucks from Vernon Auto Group in a 2 year time span. Each time we traveled at over 3 hours to get there. Why, because of t We have bought 3 cars and trucks from Vernon Auto Group in a 2 year time span. Each time we traveled at over 3 hours to get there. Why, because of the lifetime warranty they offer. Here is the problem, when you buy the car they tell you one thing about the warranty, which is that you only need to have your oil changes done at a reputable Ford Dealer, which we have diligently. However, our F-150 has recently had some problems and it is less than 2 years old. When we called we were informed that the warranty was voided due to not calling in to approve every single one of our oil changes at the Ford dealership in our hometown (for which we can provide detailed receipts and records). We were then informed that from day 1 of buying from this dealership that they do not tell you what needs to be done and then they expect you to call on every single oil change you have done per the instructions that they gave you. We are now stuck fixing this truck and will never buy from Vernon Auto Group AGAIN! The Lifetime Forever should be a Ripoff Forever plan. More
