I brought my 2019 tundra in for front end balancing which i had done a few month before which was not done right the first time. The service adviser told me that I had to pay for it even if it wasn' which i had done a few month before which was not done right the first time. The service adviser told me that I had to pay for it even if it wasn't done correctly the first time I asked him that I wanted to talk to someone about it he tells me that they are going to give me the same answer plus I didn't like his attitude which really made me mad. I have owned toyotas since 1976 and have bought over 10 new vehicles since then . They should of done the right thing and balanced the front tires for free it wasn't the money it was the principle of it and good business. Not that they care but I will never buy another vehicle from them again and I have purchased 2 new trucks in less then 4 year there good riddens More

My husband and I were in the Village Toyota dealership in Homosassa on Tuesday, 12/8/2020 to look at a pre-owned 2016 Jeep Wrangler with 45,500 miles on it. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a friendly s Homosassa on Tuesday, 12/8/2020 to look at a pre-owned 2016 Jeep Wrangler with 45,500 miles on it. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a friendly salesperson who showed us the vehicle and took us for a test drive. He informed us of the "Dimmitt reputation", a family with a long history of dealerships and doing business in the area, and stated they do everything to try to keep a positive business reputation. We asked for the best "out the door" price. The vehicle was listed for $25,991 but the sign also indicated a figure of $27,555 which had been marked through. The salesman came back with a written workup starting with a 27,000 plus figure and ending with over $29,000 out the door. He showed us a copy of the original sticker price of over $33,000. We related we thought that was high and that Kelly Blue Book indicated a price range from a dealership of between 20,342 and 24,394. We made a middle range offer out the door. Another man came back to talk with us and stated he wanted to explain how Dimmitt did business. He proceeded to tell us that prices are based on comparable vehicles within a 600 mile radius and that their prices were no haggle prices. "The days of haggling are long gone." He stated if our offer was within 200-300 dollars difference that would be different. We told him thank you and left. Ironically, we recently purchase a 2019 vehicle at Village Ford (not a Dimmitt owned dealership) in Ocala and they gladly worked with us for a mutually agreed upon price. There was no attempt with any negotiations with Village Toyota. So I decided to just do a few general computations after we left to see about a "what if": At the indicated price of $25,991 minus 2026 (the difference between the KBB range and divided by 2) equals 23,965 plus 6% sales tax of 1438 equals 25,403 plus 1189 dealer fees (1189 figure came from Dimmitt Automotive Group online synopsis of their pricing) equals $26,592. So now I'm at $26,600 (still just slightly higher than we would want to pay for a 5-year old vehicle) and the dealership is at over $29,000. (No, I didn't include tag fees.) My point is....there was no counter to our original offer and no attempt to satisfy us, the customer. Oh, and apparently there are two more strikes against shoppers who want to pay cash and/or have no trade-in. But they were truthful about one thing: they don't haggle! Our neighbors warned us...and they were right. Don't bother with this dealership. More
