I don't have anything negative to say about their customer service (how people treated me to my face) they were all polite. The issue comes a year ago when I initially bought my van from them. I had it financed and they hurried me through the process and I picked the vehicle up the day after signing the documents. I told them I didn't need to rush and they could do whatever they still needed to do, but they assured me "NO no, it'll be ready to pick up tomorrow". After a few days with the van we discovered the sunroof was entirely broken. There were also some other broken things that Kia confirmed. They fixed the broken items except the sunroof. They said the part was on back order. I would check in with them every couple of weeks to see if there was any updates and it was always "No movement yet. We don't have the part yet". Well 6 months went by and nothing. I finally spoke with the service manager, Manny, and he was able to make that backordered part appear pretty quickly. But, then they had my van for 3 weeks. They gave me a loaner, which was convenient, but they gave me the smallest car they had and i'm on the larger side. They were working on my large mini van that I used for my 3 children, and for 3 weeks I couldn't take all of my kids anywhere because they gave me a joke of a vehicle that I barely fit in myself. Again, no one was unkind to me, but nothing was going right. I finally got my van back after 3 weeks. There were now so many more issues than the van had going into the shop. They had broken the clips that attach the visors to the roof so when you flipped the visors down they fell out of the roof and were dangling in front of your face by the wires. Super fun to find that out when going 65 down the thruway and not being able to get it back into the roof while driving. Then we also discovered they broke the seatbelt adjuster in the passenger side so you couldn't move the seatbelt up or down to adjust for height. Broke the clip that held the cover on the screw that said "Passenger airbag", so that was dangling too. Broke the cover for the fusebox in the trunk and somehow broke the lights in the van so they wouldn't turn off unless you have all the lights set to "Off". Couldn't even have the lights on "Door" or they would never turn off. On top of these things, the roof above the front seats is covered in black handprints and all over the tops and bottoms of the visors. The interior is light tan and they had to have known how filthy they left it. And since it is oil and motor grease on their hands, we cannot get the handprints out of the fabric. They took the van back and "fixed" all of the issues stated above. It has now been two weeks and the passenger side visor fell out of the roof again a week ago and it is only a matter of time before the driver side does the same. And finally, they made the handprints twice as bad after "fixing" the visors. It's like they just scrubbed their hands all over the front seat roof and visors like they were towels. Probably frustrated that they keep having to work on my vehicle. All in all, they have probably done near $10k worth of work on the van I have bought from them. It's also quite hard to talk to anyone there. I made several calls several days in a row when they had my vehicle for 3 weeks with no response. It's only when you bring it to any managers attention that they return your call. I won't be bringing my vehicle back to them to fix the visor again, they will break something else and i'm not in the mood to have my roof fabric get nastier. More
Heard good things about Vision Kia, so I decided to get an oil change and tire rotation done here. The service was completed in about an hour, but my invoice listed a different oil type than what’s specifi an oil change and tire rotation done here. The service was completed in about an hour, but my invoice listed a different oil type than what’s specified for my car and did not reflect the $10 online booking coupon. Staff told me it was a system issue, assured me the correct oil was used, and offered to re-do the service for free. While I appreciate the resolution, I expected a dealership to be more detail-oriented with both service and billing. Unfortunately, this first experience was off-putting, and I don’t plan to return to this service center. More
