Then denying he had ever spoke to me after pulling calls for another incompetent employee! About denying interaction this last experience was more than enough and it was horrible ! Resulting in me being a hour and half late for work after Mike assured me 30min tops . Volkswagen has went down customer service wise . More
I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with Grant 3 times at VW Downtown Chicago. He has always been super helpful and very proactive in keeping us updated on the progress of the repair. Upon getting me checked in for my scheduled service, a personal issue arose for her. She asked the room full of other service advisors for help and she was ignored repeatedly. It wasn’t until they heard the ask for the third / fourth time and the plead in her voice another service advisor finished my intake. Saying this non of them had clients in front of them. While waiting she approached me and said she had to leave due to the personal issue in her family. She said the service manager was aware and would be coming to speak to me on my battery swap. At this time my quoted time for waiting was reached. I was kept waiting and waiting. It wasn’t until I walked over to the service advisor area and saw the manager on his phone showing co workers things on his phone. I was late for an event and asked another server advisor for help who was amazing. Shout out to him. I wasn’t contacted by the Manager until around 345 and I was already Home. He did asked for a five star review though. Overall I feel the service has declined with the new group I’m not expecting a call nor do I want one. I’ll just take my business elsewhere More
For probably 5 years at 2 dealers (Naples FL and Chicago), I have reported an engine light problem. No one wanted to deal with it. Last year, the service rep was only interested in selling more prod Chicago), I have reported an engine light problem. No one wanted to deal with it. Last year, the service rep was only interested in selling more product/services. This year he wanted to charge $250 as car is out of warranty. I asked him to review the records. He didn’t bother but want me to buy new wipers. AWFUL experience. I also contacted VW corporate last year. Will never use the dealer or buy another VW. No one will likely read this but just moving on. I’ll find a small service shop that cares and where customers matter. More

The agent Was very friendly and knowledgeable, They took care Everything as promised. The only negative I would add is that they don’t provide a loaner car while your car is being serviced. care Everything as promised. BUYER BEWARE! We had done our research and knew which CPO vehicle worked best for needs. We coordinated with the dealership a week in advance and then confirmed our precise arrival time 90 minutes before our appointment. When we arrived, the vehicle was not onsite for a test drive and we waited nearly 45 minutes. Our sales rep (Avery G.) was enthusiastic and helpful --- I sensed she was advocating for us. When it came time to negotiate the deal, the manager (Julian P.) stopped by to tell us how much we'd love the vehicle and indicated that we were getting "a great deal". To be honest, it felt a lot like the actions you'd see in a TV show or movie about the worst qualities of a used car salesman. There was something 'slimey' about the interactions with Julian and it was unnecessarily time consuming and frustrating (and reiterated multiple times that we were ready to make a purchase immediately but we simply wanted to feel like both sides were getting a good deal... he seemed most concerned with maximizing his profits without regard for my needs). Worst of all, the dealer did not disclose on the website that there would be a CPO "fee" associated with the purchase price --- so the price listed on the website, which is the reason we came into the dealership, was not really the advertised price. There's no fine print or other mentions about this on the dealer's website, and we were not familiar with this fee after speaking with several other dealerships. These deceptive sales tactics were immediately off-putting and soured the experience. We were able to work through things to reach a decently fair price, but I would encourage anyone who considers purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to be aware of their unscrupulous tactics (with regards to website pricing and in-person negotiations).
