Service center gives excellent service. David is extremely knowledgeable and explains repairs. Gives accurate information. I did all this earlier but I'm glad I had the opportunity to do this again. I've had more time to think about the things that have happened. I did not think until after I had gotten home how about the fact that oh my goodness I'm probably going to have to change my battery again! I had to bother the salesman about changing the battery. He said that was fine but I'm going to have to pay a service fee! To me that's bad business. I had to buy my own battery I put my own battery in and I had fixed my own situation with my battery. I don't know why I have to pay somebody else to do that! I know he said for safety reasons and insurance. But just give me my battery and I will do it myself. Then I did not have enough sense to check both of the fobs to see if they both worked and when I get home of course one did not work! So even if I didn't want to go back to exchange batteries I would have to go back to get a battery put in the fob! Then I also noticed as I was driving in the evening the whole interior of the windows were all smeary I could hardly see so I don't know who did the quick clean-up job but it was not done. So I asked again of my salesman to have my car cleaned up when I got there. I hope all these things are rectified. I know everyone there was extremely Pleasant! I had an excellent time and everything went well. Although I said I didn't want a payment over $400 and I'm ending up with a payment of $454. I guess you could say I didn't have to get the car. Maybe I shouldn't have but I do love the car so far. More

What’s happened? I’ve been coming to the Gainesville VW service centers since 2012. We have a vintage VW and 2 new VW’s. Lately the service has been the worst. No one I’ve been coming to the Gainesville VW service centers since 2012. We have a vintage VW and 2 new VW’s. Lately the service has been the worst. No one seems to understand how to follow up. Several great employees are no longer there. They pretend to have surveys and care about their reputation - do not be fooled. For what they charge in labor and parts mark up, this place is no longer worth it. I’d consider going and even buying in Ocala before giving them my money again. The only saving grace has been Tracey- he is the only service employee worth anything. The others should learn from him! More
