However, not when you see Saaid Olmedo (Sales Consultant) at VW of South Charlotte. I am driving a VW Golf GTI Autobahn with all packages you can buy. After my Android S8 got an update over night, my Golf connected me constantly to MirrorLink instead of Android Auto. I went to VW South Charlotte the same day and three people (sales + service) could not figure out how to solve the problem. Since I had another appointment I left and spent two hours to google the problem for a solution (btw, this is a very common problem and google could not help me either). I returned two days later VW of South Charlotte with more time, hoping that someone would be able to help. Well, the front desk connected me with Saaid Olmedo. Saaid walked with me to my car, knowing that I will not buy a new car from him. Still, he sat down, fixed the problem in less than a minute and showed me many other amazing features I did not even know I have. Saaid new everything about my car and took the time to explain all these features. But the best - listen to this - he hitched up his shirt sleeves and showed me a tattoo ... a big blue VW-logo. He is a VW enthusiast since decades and just loves VW. This passion for the brand and his friendly & kind personality will definitely get me back to him next time I am buying a VW !! More

We arrived in Charlotte from Maryland and our Passat TDI was experiencing the engine light on. I called VW of America and they referred us Volkwagen of South Charlotte. Al Condrey 's name was given to us, and believe me this is our fifth VW and never have I experienced such a warm, more personable person as Al Condrey, he is truly an asset to Volkswagen of South Charlotte. Unwilling to provide detailed breakdown of the $1,300 dealer installed options, then kicked me out of the dealership. Entire encounter lasted 10 minutes. His last words to me were "Thanks for wasting my entire morning". Also lied by saying he was a Sales Manager, which another employee confirmed he is not. I don't know how this guy maintains his job, clearly untrustworthy, buyers beware. More

The reason why we are doing this is simply due to the fact we obviously like the cars and selection of models but more important, the relationship with the dealership. Spiros Dedis is a seasoned sales executive that knows his product well. He has looked out for our best interest each time and made sure we were comfortable and knowledgeable regarding each of the features of the cars we have leased. Al in service is spot on with following up on scheduled maintenance and Drew in finance is quite the gentleman to work with. The owner, Mark Cohen, makes sure that we continue to be happy and has been available for any support ( which we have not needed). My wife and I highly recommend them and have sent some of our friends there as well to visit with Spiros for their vehicle requirements. Patrick works closely to ensure that everyone feels they got their “Deal” and leaves with a big smile. By the way- bagels, coffee, and two lounges even with desk areas, to relax during any visit. He was upfront, not pushy, and encouraged me to weigh all options throughout the buying process. Any areas of doubt I had with the car Jendy was able to help me work through it with warranty options etc... Every purchase option was laid out on the table in front of me for comparison even before I committed to buying the car. I was taken seriously and my time was not wasted which I do appreciate! I can’t even begin to explain how patient and kind they are. We exclusively worked with Jendy Rodriguez, he is so highly recommend. He was so patient with us and during our time of finding the perfect car. He kept in touch with us and let us reach out when we were ready. He didn’t constantly call, text or email us giving us the space we needed to make a decision. With that non pushy feeling we can back to him when we were ready! This guy is truly the best with so much knowledge about VW vehicles. The head manager Kwasi is unreal as well. Willing to make every customer as happy as possible! The finance manager as well. Everyone inside is willing to get you what you need with a smile on their face. Highly recommend with everything possible to visits these guys to buy a car! You will not regret it! More
The best dealership experience I’ve ever had! Over the past couple of weeks I have been visiting dealerships looking for a spacious hatchback or crossover SUV. I had went into this VW dealership on Wednesday the 18th and found a very nice 2016 Tiguan SE. I returned on Friday the 20th to test drive the car and get a better idea if this was the car I wanted. Jenny greated my girlfriend and I at the door and was easily the most courteous salesman I had spoken with over the past several weeks. He knew the ins and outs of the vehicle and did a fantastic job selling me the car. He was entergeric and polite and felt like he was putting my needs first. At the end of the day and taking over an hour of his time I told him I couldn’t make any moves on the car without my mom and left not knowing when I would be back. The next day my mom decided she wanted to come see the car and so we went back to speak with Jendy again on Saturday. Jendy made ample time for my mom and I as we spent close to 4 hours with him while trying to negotiate purchasing the car. He went on our behalf to negotiate the price of the vehicle multiple times until he got the price to something I could afford the payments on. After we began moving forward with the purchase Jendy made sure to have the car washed and filled up with gas so that it would be ready to go when I drove off the lot that day. I had a beyond pleasurable experience working with Jendy at Volkswagen of South Charlotte and if I needed another car today I would check with him first! More
Car damaged during warranty repair. I brought my car in for service work for a EPC light as well as a Check engine light. So they blamed the turbo as fault and replaced it under warranty I brought my car in for service work for a EPC light as well as a Check engine light. So they blamed the turbo as fault and replaced it under warranty. Then I happened to look at my car when I was there to pick it up and noticed some damage to my front wheels. I was understanding about it and told them that it had to happen in their service depo. Sadly like most dealerships they will weasel out of any thing they mess up. Although they did offer a fix by a local wheel shop which was a decent offer I declined and the reason for that is, that the wheels arrived on the car as new condition when it went into service. I dont want to be stuck with someone else's mess later down the road because someones patch job on my wheels. I was expecting good work and not have to worry about my car being damaged but boy was I wrong. Also they blamed my EPC light and CEL on the intake (Like usual). So they had me drive back home with both the EPC and CEL lit on the dash. Also I'm sure someone will respond to this to make it seem they are being nice. But thats not the case at all, Their favorite line is usually "I'm sorry you feel that way" which is condescending anyway. Last time I ever go here and WARN OTHERS. DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL GET YOUR CAR DAMAGED!! More
