Hello sir this is John Quillin. I am the Service Director here at Waldorf Honda. The diagnoses for your 2018 Accord was to replace your rear calipers. The reason they needed to be replaced is because the caliper motors were damaged when you had someone do your rear brakes. Your car is equipped with electronic parking brake which needs to placed in maintenance mode before brake work can be performed. That is why the rear calipers needed to be replaced. After the calipers were replaced we found no communication to the VSA module. That is why it was also replaced. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at 240-427-1544. The initial problem here are those Multiple Dash Board Lights. Those electronic Break Calipers were working because our trusted mechanic we personally know tested them with Retractor Tool as he showed me. We initially thought they were the cause of the sudden dash board lights, but he tested them and they are working using Retractor Tool even though those calipers has some dent-scratches. So, since those Electronic Calipers are already retracted, we decided to replace the break-pads as they're needed to be replaced. As the dashboard lights were still showing after all tests done, we highly suspected its NOT those calipers but the computer-module, so I had to bring it to Honda because it is only the Honda that can fix this problem. This mechanic is not stupid and I also used to fix APCs and trucks in the Army so please do not think that we don't have an idea when/what we can fix things and what not to touch. So I brought my Honda Accord to Waldorf Honda to have it diagnosed and I told Justin that it is highly likely that it is the computer-module is causing the problem (I wonder my VIN is not included on Accord 2018 Recall); but since you supposed to have all the technology we paid for to thoroughly diagnose this car, he came up that those caliper are the problem. He even assured me that those Dash Board Lights will go away once they were replaced..... after about 3 days of waiting and having my car in your service, he called me that it WAS NOT those calipers that are causing the dashboard lights but the computer-module that I have initially told him. That is technically MISDAIGNOSIS causing me to pay extra more.
