"Could not ask for a better car buying experience!" I am not in the habit of buying new cars, In my entire 60+ years I had, up to this point, purchased a grand total of two new vehicles. So knowing how to 'play' the car buying game is not something that I am familier with at all. My wife and I decided that a Mustang GT would be the right car for us and after a bit of strong armed tactics by another Ford dealer the next county over we went to our local dealer, Walker Ford. We needed to order the car we wanted, Kevin Jewel took care of everything in a friendly and professional manner. They do NOT play any of the games other dealers play! Kevin kept in steady touch with us via phone calls and regular emails, we knew exactly when our 'blue baby' was built and the transportation schedule as well. On delivery day Kevin spent extra time with us, helping take pics and going over some of the basic features. Harry Rumberger soft sold us a couple of warranties, as complex and expensive as cars are nowadays I personally think it is money well spent, he did not twist my arm at all, nor did he try. All in all, I truly do not think you could find a more honest dealership or a better group of people to do business with. More

She told us about Walker Ford and the pleasant experience she had with John Brown, her salesman, and the dealership in general. So we thought we'd give Walker a shot. From the time we walked in the door, we felt welcome. John listened to what we wanted, made a few well thought out suggestions, and ordered our new Explorer from Ford Motor. Our new Explorer arrived a few days ahead of schedule. John notified us and we drove to Walker to pick up our new vehicle. Brett Hughes, the business manager, was very helpful and took great pains in explaining all of the financial details. On our first visit to Walker, we were introduced to Walker's manager, Tracy Affrunti. She made us feel very comfortable and at ease. After all of the paperwork was completed, John accompanied us out to our vehicle and spent a good half hour or so introducing us to all of the new technology and gadgets our explorer was equipped with. Horrible customer service! They were fine as long as you were trying to buy something. When I tried to get a refund for the remainder of the extended warranty I had purchased on They were fine as long as you were trying to buy something. When I tried to get a refund for the remainder of the extended warranty I had purchased on a the vehicle I traded in - no so much. I have been trying to get my refund for over 6 months. Getting no phone calls back, no response to my inquiries. Had to re-send the paperwork to them again and still over a month and a half later don't have my refund. General manager isn't there, girl who writes the checks isn't there.... blah blah blah... I finally contacted the warranty company directly and they stated they sent my refund electronically to the dealership TWO MONTHS AGO! I am livid! This is no way to treat a customer and I will NEVER be a customer again! More
