Our experience with this dealership was frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. We came in ready to purchase and had two vehicles in mind from the website. The salesman greeted us warmly, but i disappointing from start to finish. We came in ready to purchase and had two vehicles in mind from the website. The salesman greeted us warmly, but it quickly became clear his only goal was to get us behind a desk and push the sale through. After choosing a vehicle, he gave us a “bottom line” figure that supposedly included tax, title, fees, and license. I told him I was interested but at a slightly lower price ($750 less) and also asked about a strange attachment on the key fob. His response was dismissive. First, he insisted the price was non-negotiable because of “company policy.” Second, he explained the attachment was for aftermarket seat heaters but admitted he didn’t know if they even worked—then added that even if they didn’t, Walser wouldn’t fix them. That level of indifference toward a customer asking a basic question was astonishing. At that point, we asked to speak to a manager. The New Car Manager came over and, after hearing what had happened, brought in the General Manager. To his credit, the General Manager (Bret Juedes) listened, reassigned us to a different salesman, and arranged to have the car inspected, cleaned, and outfitted with new floor mats. He also promised two complimentary oil changes and tire rotations, though there’s been zero follow-up, so we have no idea if that was genuine or just words to calm the situation. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. During the signing process, we discovered that the first salesman had left out the documentation fee from his so-called “bottom line.” When I pointed out the discrepancy, the second salesman simply said the fee was mandatory and there was nothing he could do. In other words, the number we were quoted and based our decision on was misleading from the start. At that point, after hours invested, we reluctantly went through with the purchase. The dealership’s failures didn’t end at the sale. We were told we would receive a follow-up call the next day to check in—no one ever called. Even worse, it has now been 36 days since we purchased the vehicle and we still have not received our license plates. When I called the dealership, I wasn’t offered help or even basic courtesy—I was told flatly to “call the DMV.” That’s their idea of customer service. In the end, this dealership showed us that while they are eager to sell, they are unwilling to stand behind their promises or take care of their customers once the paperwork is signed. The General Manager made an effort to salvage the experience, but it wasn’t enough to outweigh the dishonesty, dismissiveness, and lack of follow-through that defined our time at Walser Polar Mazda. I would strongly caution others to think twice before doing business here. More
