My experience at Wantaugh Mazda was fantastic. I originally went to Garden City Mazda, but they gave me the typical automobile salesman treatment and tried to force me to buy that day. At Wantaugh Mazda, the staff was very friendly and I felt no pressure whatsoever. I worked mostly with Victor (the salesman), who was very kind and did everything he could to help me get the price I wanted and to make the whole process run smoothly. Victor and I also had a good conversation about our family, travel experiences, etc. It was refreshing to work with a salesman who took an interest in his clients beyond just the information necessary to make a sale. I would strongly recommend asking for Victor if you go to Wantaugh Mazda. Joe and Danny were also both helpful in working things out with the banks/credit unions. My only word of caution is that if you get one of the monthly "special deals," make sure your credit is extremely good! It was difficult for me to get approved because of my less than stellar credit, but Joe and Danny were both helpful in working with the banks to try and make things work out. More

I bough my Mazda a few years ago at a a differnt dealership, but when it needed some work I checked this site and found this dealer rated better than most on service. Well...after an intial probelm dealership, but when it needed some work I checked this site and found this dealer rated better than most on service. Well...after an intial probelm getting an appointment, this dealer turned out to be very exceptional. I wish I had some names, but I made my appointments over the phone (The car had a few problems, that required two seperate visits and a part order that I will not bore you with, but I assure you were not mechancial in the true sense of the word)and I dropped off and picked-up my car after the service department was closed. In both service cases I was quoted an exact price that were very reasonable. The service department actually called me when my car was ready. At any other dealer I have had to call, sometimes several times to get a status, I even had a delaer close for the day without calling me back. So maybe this dealer just looks better compared to my experience with others? Some of the other ittle touches that to me matter are - one problem was battery / electrical related and the dealer took the time to re-set the clock and update my satilliate radio. The first time I picked-up the car the salesmen helped me because service was closed. Friendly as can be, and when I asked about the detailed service sheet (somehow it was not with the papaerwork) he said no problem and I received the next day in the mail. I will continue to bring my Miata here for all schedule maintenance and any other service I need. More
