My appointment was at 9:30am and I was heading home by 11:00am. I always choose to wait at the dealership and my wait was not long at all. I am very happy with the service I received. The appointment scheduling team was awesome, and I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they were able to get me in. My assigned advisor Steve was also great - friendly, knowledgeable, and took time to li pleasantly surprised how quickly they were able to get me in. Ultimately they turned off the Check Engine Light and drove the car, said everything looked normal. Unfortunately, the light came back on less than 24 hours later, and the car started overheating. The coolant reservoir was nearly empty. I filled it up (for the 3rd time in 3 months) and took to another mechanic. They found no leaks, but based on what they saw, heard, and the info I gave them, concluded that the car was eating coolant likely due to a blown head gasket. Got a second opinion. That mechanic agreed. I am beyond disappointed and pissed that Ford was absolutely incapable of finding this major issue. Based on what other friends have told me, when you bring a car to Ford for service, they only check what you tell them to check. That is overwhelmingly clear to me. So I just sold the car today and bought a Honda Civic Si. This was my 3rd and LAST Ford. I can’t go through this anymore. More
