Been here on 3 occasions for basic service visits aka oil change, tire rotation, etc. Never going back. Never buying from here. Can’t ever set an appointment online. Tried calling but can’t ever reach a live person and set an appointment. I show up in the morning on weekdays for quick lane service. Upon arrival, it feels like I’m interrupting the staff with my visit given I don’t have an appointment. And this most recent visit, I waited 18 minutes to see an advisor which was too busy for me and carried a rude attitude with me. Couldn’t say how long the service would take but eventually stated it’d be 2 hours but wasn’t sure. The advisor came back to recommend a coolant flush on a 2022 F150 with 34,500 miles which seems odd since it’s not listed on Fords schedule maintenance plan. I declined. The service was completed in under 1 hour which was great but everything else was not pleasant. More
Brought my truck in for some transmission issues, the service advisor addressed it right away. Called with the diagnosis and the trans needed a rebuild. Technician who I dealt with in the service department was rude, obnoxious, and a liar. Accused me of lying and deliberately damaging my own personal vehicle for some kind of game. I came to Wayne Akers Ford fully prepared—with my trade-in information, loan payoff, and a clear budget. From the start, I was told the vehicle price was negotiable. But once it came time to actually trade-in information, loan payoff, and a clear budget. From the start, I was told the vehicle price was negotiable. But once it came time to actually discuss numbers, that promise disappeared. The dealership lowballed my trade-in, added over $1,300 in unwanted “protection packages,” and refused to budge on the price—even though the car had prior damage on record. When I made a fair, realistic offer of $31,500 out the door with my trade-in included, they dismissed me and told me to “look elsewhere.” If this is how Wayne Akers Ford treats serious buyers—by wasting their time and refusing to negotiate honestly—then I’ll gladly take their advice. There are plenty of dealerships that actually want to earn your business. Unfortunately, Wayne Akers Ford isn’t one of them. More
