I can't get over how easy Wayne Akers Ford made taking care of the Ford safety recalls. The guys that picked my car up at my home we're great, and then they delivered it back to where I work and I did not care of the Ford safety recalls. FYI, the dealership where I actually bought my Ford escape wanted to keep my car 4 to 5 days after they inspected it and after they ordered the part. Hello on Tuesday May 28th I dropped my truck off in the morning at 9:15 am. This was the first time I’ve been there. I pulled up and got out of my truck and stood there for 5-8 min. Only 1 black mustang pu morning at 9:15 am. This was the first time I’ve been there. I pulled up and got out of my truck and stood there for 5-8 min. Only 1 black mustang pulled up at that time No one came up to me. I asked a younger gentleman maybe a porter what I should do that I was dropping my car off for service he said someone will be with you, a man came over with a tablet and I told him that I was here for service leaving my car he asked if I had an appointment I said no so he directed me to an office across the lanes. Giovanni is who finally helped me and he was very pleasant to talk with. He put all my information in the computer and then came out and scanned the truck. He told me that he would call me when it was ready. They might have to order the part and I said I’m leaving the truck to wait for the part. I was called Later in the day to pick it up, but at this time, I was on my way to Fort Lauderdale airport go to Ecuador and I wouldn’t be back until Friday night and would pick up the car on Saturday if that was ok There is a death in the family. Giovanni said he didn’t work on Saturday, but he would have the car ready and give the paperwork to a person who is working. He also offered condolences which was very nice of him. I was dropped off in the morning around 1130. There was one truck in the service bay That a white ball gentleman was scanning The truck told him I was here to pick up my truck and he said he couldn’t help me that the tall man on the other side of the truck with the red shirt on could help me that was his boss. So I told the older gentleman and the red shirt and glasses that I was here to pick up my truck. I left it on Tuesday he seemed preoccupied Almost as if it was a bother to go look for my truck. I waited in the service lanes and he went inside. The main building came out and said he couldn’t find my paperwork. He didn’t know where my truck was located so I told him I dropped it with Giovanni on Tuesday. It was ready on Tuesday afternoon. I was out of the country till Saturday And I told him I was there to pick up my F250 red platinum trimmer so he said he would look in Giovanni’s office. He came out with the paperwork and said he would go get the truck when he pulled around to the service. He was friendly, but I was really turned off about how he seemed earlier that it was almost a hassle that I was there to pick my truck up after service. I have bought a lot of different types of cars throughout the years and have taken them in for service and I haven’t felt like I didn’t know who to talk to before usually people come up to you when you pull in and are very friendly. This dealership is closest to my house. Thank you for your time. More
