Best BMW Dealership Experience I've Had (I've owned 3) As I worked at a VW dealership just after high school and became a car salesman for a year just after college, I know the inner workings of a dealersh As I worked at a VW dealership just after high school and became a car salesman for a year just after college, I know the inner workings of a dealership rather well. As such, my tolerance for BAD dealership experiences is about the lowest of anyone I know, and my likelihood of being the guy whose friends call him when it's time to go car shopping is rather high. So last week I got the Batsignal. My friend and his husband wanted either a 328i sedan or convertible, and there were a few cars at a few locations. So off we went. Started at BMW of Mountain View, which is close to their place. Walked the lot 15 minutes, nobody even came out. Somewhat odd, as we're a fortysomething doctor and a fortysomething business owner... but true story... we were ignored. So we left. Went to Stevens Creek BMW... a little better. The salesman popped out, said he'd be there if we needed anything but didn't crowd us. Truth told, one of their cars looked quite good... so we "put a pin" in that one mentally and headed up to Weatherford BMW to see what they had to offer. Ron Freytag was our "Client Advisor" and he did a great job. He was personable, patient with my (indecisive) friends, took us on a good test drive, answered every question. James Whittenberg, his manager, worked with us as well, as we wrangled the numbers until they worked out. Bottom line; my friend LOVES his "new" CPO 2013 BMW 328i sedan, the price agreed upon was exactly the number he was hoping to get the car for, we all parted as friends, and everyone was happy. It's nice to leave a dealership not in a state of white-hot rage for once. Yah, I'm looking at YOU, Sonnen BMW. MY next BMW purchase (upgrade) will be turning in my 2009 BMW 328i convertible here, going home in a newer M3 convertible... with these same two gentlemen. More

" Pissed Poor Performance " 1. ~ My Car was there for three days before it was diagnosed ! 2. ~ Service Advisors lack of consideration to my needs, all I wanted was a phone 1. ~ My Car was there for three days before it was diagnosed ! 2. ~ Service Advisors lack of consideration to my needs, all I wanted was a phone call to be advised of the work, or in my case ~ lack of. (Poor Communication skills !) 3. ~ Guilty of "Part Misrepresentation" : Said I needed a part that had NOTHING to do with my issue at hand. After declining to have the work performed at WEATHERFORD I purchased the item with the part number given to me via there work Invoice documentation ~ only to find out, installing the part and my problem remained ! 4. ~ Contacted Service advisor - "Martinez", whom has a great gift of Gab, but no results ! ! ! 5. ~ After all that, returned my Car dirty, without the comp. Wash it would have normally received. ~ The only bright side of this : " I did have a loan a Car for the five days without my Vehicle " Invoice # 219165 / RO Quote # QR 89824 More
