Wellesley Volkswagen had not only the best pricing around, but an extremely relaxed and straight forward buying process. My salesman, Jens Albrecht, was very knowledgeable of the product and even came in on his day off to deliver my new car! Highly recommend this dealership, and this is coming from someone has bought and sold (too) many vehicles in their lifetime. More

TIme and time again, my research brings me back to VWs, in my case the wagons. My last car was a Jetta Sportwagen TDI which I enjoyed driving but I was eligible to turn it in under the VW buyback program. I then started looking for a replacement and settled on the Golf Alltrack. After deciding on the trim line, I called around to various dealerships and asked for a quote. Wellsley VW made the shortlist based on the quoted price and the experience on the phone. I also had previous experience with them in getting my Passat wagon serviced there. I had found them to be a reputable dealer. I stopped in and met with Kevin Mullin. I found him to be very pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable of the VW line. They had a car I wanted in inventory and we negotiated a price that I thought was very fair after having done my research. I arranged for my own financing. My car was to be registered out of state which involved some extra work for Kevin. He took on the task of ensuring that all the paperwork was in order for transferring my previous paperwork and that there would be no hitches in me picking up my car. My car was ready a day before I had planned to pick it up. Driving it has been a real pleasure, with all the amenities I wanted and a few bonus amenities. Upon delivery, Kevin really took the time to go over the car with me to ensure that I was familiar with all the features. Even after owning several VWs, I learned several things about the cars that I previously wasn't aware of. It made me appreciate even more the engineering and thought that goes into these cars. More

My vehicle would not start after going grocery shopping across the street, he walked over and jump started my vehicle and drove it to the dealer to have the battery replaced. He also accommodated me to get the car checked before a long trip. So thanks to him and Wellesley Volkswagen my car was prepared for the trip. This kind of service is why I bought my car at Wellesley Volkswagen. More
First Volkswagen - Incredible Experience Our family has purchased over 20 vehicles from the Colonial Automotive Group, but this was my first purchase from Wellesley Volkswagen. My daughter h Our family has purchased over 20 vehicles from the Colonial Automotive Group, but this was my first purchase from Wellesley Volkswagen. My daughter has purchased two Volkswagens from Andreas Becker and she highly recommended him to me. She also wanted to see me in a Volkswagen. The entire experience from the first meeting until I drove off in my new Tiguan was exceptional. This Colonial Group dealership was fantastic to work with. No pressure, no tricks, no deception - just pure honest salesmanship and professionalism. I was delighted with the entire experience and - like my daughter - highly recommend Andreas Becker and General Sales Manager, Mike Ahern when you are ready for a new car. More

My first car 35 years ago was a VW and I've always been a fan. In fact I had only VWs until an absolutely terrible experience with a lemon and poor service turned me off the brand. After a few BMWs, Saabs (remember them?) and an Audi, I went back to VW for my current car (Golf GTI). Terrific car. Love it. Not a single warranty claim. Very reliable. Too bad the service department at Wellesley VW isn't as good as the cars they sell. The reps that greet you when dropping off the car for servicing are, at best, indifferent, apathetic and disinterested. There is no welcome, there is no eye contact, there is no actual interest in you as a person, let alone a customer, or the issues your car may be experiencing. It's basically "Name? Give me the keys. Ok, we'll call you when it's ready. Next." So, you have to ask to learn more about what the service will entail, what it might cost. Heaven forbid you ask a specific question, as you definitely won't get an answer, but rather a vague "the mechanic has to look at it... we'll call you later." This poor customer service is bad enough, but it's far worse when the service needed is not explained adequately and/or the service performed is not done correctly. To wit, in my case an issue was misdiagnosed and explained to me as an unnecessary fix, one that could wait several months at least until my next annual service. Fast forward a few months and that initial issue? It turns out it wasn't insignificant at all and should have been fixed right away. As a result, the problem has gotten significantly worse and I'm now faced with a several thousand dollar bill. If Wellesley VW has made the correct diagnosis originally, I could have fixed the car for a few hundred dollars. The worst part? Absolutely no sense of accountability or responsibility from Wellesley VW. Even though I have all the paperwork from them, they dispute it... think about that... they dispute their own records! Frustrating, to say the least. Insulting really. And such a shame, given how great the cars are. This lack of service is so extreme that I won't be getting that new GTI. Way to go, Wellesley VW Service Department. You just lost your sales team what I imagine is a much-needed sale. More

H I had the pleasure of working with Jens Albrecht, who made the entire experience truly enjoyable. Jens is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He matched me in the perfect car on the first test drive. I was a little intimidated going into this experience as it was the first car I was purchasing all on my own, but Jens guided me through the process, matched me in an amazing VW Jetta, and was able to put me in my brand new car in 2 visits, guiding me through the process the entire way. If you are looking for friendly, knowledgable, and attentive staff, this is the place for you. More
