The 2018 VW Atlas! After 12 years of driving my station wagon, I knew it was time to upgrade. At first was looking at the Alltrack wagon, but decided to wait until the 3row Atlas came out for extra space with 2 growing boys and a dog. From the start, I was greeted by Marc Schoenhammer. I attended the VW Atlas Launch event at the dealership and post-test drive put down a deposit on the Atlas. Marc was very upfront with me about the possible wait from the factory on the model / trim that I wanted. He was very communicative with me about updates, and let me know when the model I wanted (but not the color) had come into the port, and offered me a chance to be the one to snag it. I'm glad he did, as I absolutely love the Tourmaline Blue / gray interior. He was really pleasant to work with the entire process. He knew how excited I was about getting the Atlas. One of my favorite parts of the process was the day I went to the dealership to pick up the car and as I drove in to the dealership, it was right out front, shiny and clean, just waiting for me. Felt like a rock star. Maybe they do this for everyone, but I just thought it was a nice touch. Marc was there to greet me with keys in hand, and a big smile. Got an introduction to the car, and with my 7 year old son with me, he made sure to answer his questions too, and took pictures for me right before we drove away. My wife and I recently bought a Toyota from one of the larger dealers in the area and the experience couldn't have been more different. With this VW purchase we definitely felt cared for and that our time was important. The sale process wrapped rather quickly at the end of their business day. I picked up my car on my lunch break the following day and have been enjoying it ever since. A quick note about Marc. He seems like a very nice and sweet gentleman. I'd recommend him to anyone looking to buy a car. He was straightforward and detailed with a lack of BS. We really enjoyed the experience.
