I have been visiting Wellesley VW since I bought my 1st VW there around 2007. They have always been stellar (even in comparison with other VW dealers). Recently Sam went above & beyond which drove me to th VW there around 2007. They have always been stellar (even in comparison with other VW dealers). Recently Sam went above & beyond which drove me to this review. Our Jetta 2015 Hybrid battery died, causing the panel to go wonky -- of course, just before a holiday weekend. She helped me find the best way to get the car there safely, helped me deal with the tow guy who didn't know how to deal with the power being out of this type of vehicle, confirmed it got there safely after a minor incident with it rolling off the tow bed! :-o She communicated regularly about the status of the vehicle & pointed out another that we needed (brakes!), made it happen while the car was already there. As it's our only vehicle she also made special arrangements for me to be picked up--next day!--so we could have the car back for the holiday weekend. I do not trust anyone else with my cars & while many businesses customer service continue to go downhill, Wellesley VW & Sam in particular do nothing but impress. Thank you !! More

On 6/15/21 I brought my 2020 GLI in for an APR tune. I talked to Sam who was extremely helpful both over the phone, and when I arrived. She was knowledgeable and very polite. I paid for an ECU and T I talked to Sam who was extremely helpful both over the phone, and when I arrived. She was knowledgeable and very polite. I paid for an ECU and TCU tune, totaling over $1,300.00. I brougham my car in with 290miles left for range, upon picking it up I was down to 240miles of range. Sam told me the technician did a test drive before I left with my car, so I assumed the 50 miles less in rage was because of that. I realized that in order to lose that much range, the person test driving my car had to have dumped the pedal the entire trip. I went to check my dash cam that is designed to turn on whenever the car is tuned on, and the technician driving my car only had it on for a few minutes. You can see the technician leave VW and head toward Rt9. Once the technician was stopped and about to turn onto Rt.9, you can see the technician touching the dash cam and turning it off. I leave my dash cam on whenever I drive for insurance purposes, for my safety and for others. I’m disappointed that the technician thought it was okay to tamper with customers vehicles in a way to hide his test drive. I feel bad because Sam was so helpful, but whatever technician drove my car really impacted my experience. The car was just tuned, and the technician was busy turning off the dash cam and wasting 50 miles of range on my car. The car probably shouldn’t be pushed to its max just minutes after the tune as it was the cars first time driving on the tune. Especially now that my VW warranty can be effected by the tune if there are engine problems. Thanks for reading this email. I’m not looking to complain but that technician needs to know it’s not okay to touch someone’s dash cam while their driving someone else’s car that they paid for. Other than that, the dealership was very friendly. More
