Good Afternoon George, We certainly appreciate your last three visits with your 2013 Passat & are always pleased to help you cover what we can through the diesel-warranty-extensions. Though we haven’t seen your second vehicle, the 2005 Passat, since early 2019 we never want customers to feel as though our standards have dropped. It seems sporadic fault codes were found in the system when diagnosing the Check Engine Light. At the time, our tech checked the vehicle's glow plugs & engine harness wiring as per VW guidelines suggest for the codes that were in the system. Nothing was found to be damaged or failed. As a result, we cleared the codes and road tested the vehicle. Upon rescanning for faults, none had returned. In a situation where nothing has been found to have failed or been damaged, we ask our customers to keep an eye on the vehicle's performance and to call us back if any lights return on the dash as we cannot just replace parts without reason to. Our reputation by the thousands can be viewed online & seem as though we still hold the values we have since opening our doors in 1969. I’d be more than happy to discuss what occurred in regards to how the conversation between my advisor-and yourself went. No customer should feel as if we didn’t put our best foot forward or didn’t write up their concerns properly due to a lack of listening.
