Fixed one side wheelbearing and alignment for 1200 bucks. .labor time is 2.5 hours and the part is around 150.. had car for 2days, i picked my car one evening only to drive out and still a growling noise and .labor time is 2.5 hours and the part is around 150.. had car for 2days, i picked my car one evening only to drive out and still a growling noise and alignment wasnt correct. Steering wheel off to the left..i called service guy whom told me the tech said it needed a new transmission!! To which after 10 mins of chatting and not buying it, i was then told it was probably the tires... they were brand new a week before this and not buying that either..finally he had me bring it back in and drop off only to be told it was the other front wheelbearing and would be another 1200 dollars..i picked the car up and brought it to a real automotive repair center that actually is honest and does test drive after repairs and they replaced the wheelbearing in less than 4hrs and it actually doesnt make anymore noise and once again i believe there can be honest people and fair pricing.. thank you scorsone in geneseo.
