Lack of Communication The actual labor look good as far as I can tell. I am highly disappointed in the advisor, Marvin. My car was there 11 days and I had not heard a word The actual labor look good as far as I can tell. I am highly disappointed in the advisor, Marvin. My car was there 11 days and I had not heard a word about it. I was sick and did not realize how many days had passed. I called after 11 days and had to ask for a manger to get updates on my car. It does not bother that it took almost 2 weeks to repair. I expected that with the supplemental claim that had to be made. Then Marvin gives me an unclear explanation when I did talk to him. My insurance kept asking questions and I did not understand why they had not spoke to Marvin but they said they tried and did not get a response. Marvin told me the supplemental got held up awaiting insurance approval but I know that was not true because I could see what was submitted and on what date. Then Marvin said he was awaiting on my new bumper to arrive. That part is reasonable but I didn’t appreciate Marvin trying to put it off on the insurance company. And if there was an issue I should’ve been made aware of it. Marvin also tells me he had the wrong phone number for me. At no point in the 11 days did it occur to Marvin to dig a little deeper. I have been there before and I have an extensive relationship with the service department as well. The easiest thing to do would have been to look at the insurance supplemental. All of my info was at the top of that document. I felt a little disrespected as if it wasn’t so important for me to know the status updates maybes because I’m a woman. He didn’t even try to explain everything in detail. Everything was rushed in his time speaking to me. Marvin is a poor representation of Lexus. I expect more. More
