This place is Terrible with a capital T. DO NOT GO HERE! I own three Hondas and I love the brand and expected a good experience from White Plains Honda. I've negotiated OTD pricing for every Honda I'v I own three Hondas and I love the brand and expected a good experience from White Plains Honda. I've negotiated OTD pricing for every Honda I've owned. Heck I've negotiated out the door pricing at White Plains Honda many years ago prior to buying my Civic. I reserved a CRV for an OTD price and two weeks later the car came in. The salesman Darwin called me and said the car was ready and I drove two and a half hours to pick up my parents to get the car that I already negotiated pricing and put $500 down on. I go in to the dealership and the finance manager showed me a bill of nearly 4,000 over the price that was negotiated and they go back and forth and then the manager comes in and asks me "what happened" with the usual fake concern as if he doesn't know what happened. He then has the audacity to tell me that they don't negotiate OTD pricing when I sat there for 2 hours negotiating OTD pricing on my first visit. After some more deliberation and their claims that this price was pre sales tax I ask them "why the heck would I pay $500 down on a price that wasn't the final price of a car?" I came in initially to negotiate a car and know the full costs (tax, delivery, dmv) prior to putting any money down and made that point very clear to Darwin who made the deal with me prior to my $500 down. If they weren't insulting me until now then another salesperson named Alfred comes in and starts off with the fake concern and an absolutely cold stare and asks me "what happened?" I lost it at that point. He knows what happened. They discussed this all in great length before approaching me. Why do I have to waste my time repeating it? He said the same stuff as the previous manager about how the price was correct and I was pretty much done with the experience and because of how heated I was he said he didn't want to sell the car to me. While all this was happening the salesman I worked with, Darwin, stood there like a statue and looked at me like I had no idea what I was talking about. If they didn't want to sell the car to me that's cool. Don't give me the runaround and waste my time speaking to two different managers. I told Alfred that I didn't want the car and said that I would share my experience online with feedback and he said , "well you didn't buy the car here so you have no credibility." You guys can decide if I have that or not by reading my words. I'm sure they are going to respond to this message with their own twist to the story but this is as real as it gets folks. I repeat... stay away from this place. The negative reviews are very real. STAY FAR FAR AWAY. I hope this review helps your decision making. Good luck! More
