I came in to White River Toyota after spotting a couple of Highlanders I liked online. I have to say going to a dealership is not something I look forward to and I had been to a few others before WRT and left not wanting to go back. I had my 17 year old daughter and her boyfriend with me as I knew they would need to learn how to survive this process on their own pretty soon. I was greeted by Marty just inside the door. He immediately impressed me with his friendly but relaxed manner. He took a ton of time with us and walked all over the lot and out on the back 40 looking for the cars I had seen online. He let us climb inside one that definitely had not been spruced up at all and even let us test drive it with the new parts in boxes with us. He had nothing to hide! I know I ask a lot of questions and Marty patiently fielded all of them, but the kids had so many more. We decided we wanted the car that had not received any service yet. My daughter really wanted me to get it fast as she knew she wanted to drive it to some event right away. They pushed Marty and asked for things I didn't think were even possible. To my astonishment, Marty called us a little later and told us he could make almost every one of the things the kids were asking for possible. I was amazed. But that wasn't the end. I am a single Dad with four kids who has more than a few dings on my credit. Other dealers offers included interest rates that seemed exorbitant to me. Marty was able to get me a quote that was agreeable even though we were probably a few minutes after closing time. He encouraged me to let him work with the finance people that would be at work the next morning. He called the next morning to say he had been able to work out terms that made me shout in celebration. I was amazed again. I felt genuinely respected and valued. I would highly recommend White River Toyota and Marty Adams to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. More
