I think the sales staff should remind the potential buyer with trade in the documentations to bring with them to improve the trade in experience (especially for non-experienced buyer), and existing loan payoff. 2. Bring your own financing and be ready to wait I would like to start by saying the salesperson we worked with, Leticia, was very nice and took good care of us. We had agreed on a price ahead of time and she honored it. The car was ready when we arrived. We arrived around 7PM and were able to meet with Leticia immediately. She sat us down, we started talking about numbers and signed some preliminary forms including the financing application. At this point, I was pleased because things seemed to be progressing quickly. Then we sat for a while. We watched Leticia begin to help another customer while we sat there. Finally, she sends the other customer out on a test drive and comes back to us. We get to go look at the car and have some time to check it out. Since we had already been on test drives, we figured we were almost done. This is where things go downhill. We go back to Leticia's desk and sit for a while again. Then I was asked if I would have a cosigner on my loan. I said I don't think I need one. Then someone comes back and says nevermind, it's okay. Then we sit for a while again. At this point we have been at the dealer for over an hour. We watch Leticia work with the customer that had gone on a test drive for another half an hour. Then we get to talk to Steve, the finance guy. Steve goes on to try to talk us into all the protections and warranties, as he is supposed to. He also talks about how since I am his last customer he can help be out and he can get me the best deal, all while not actually talking about prices. The only one I was interested in was the maintenance package. He keeps saying derogatory things such as "This only adds $10 a month to your payment, surely you can do that" and "You really can't afford another $10 per month" and other very presumptuous comments. I was just trying to do the math and make an informed decision and he just kept running his mouth about how I should have piece of mind and get this or that. He also tried talking me into a much longer loan term than I actually wanted, even though Leticia and I had already agreed on a term. Finally I agree to take the maintenance package and be done, a move I am regretting. I should have just taken the car and added the maintenance package later using Honda's no interest financing option. After all of that it was well past 9PM by the time we left. That is over 2 hours to buy a car when we had already negotiated price and the car was ready for us. If I could do it all again, I would have showed up with my own financing so I could just hand over a check and be done with it. I may consider buying a car from East Towne again, but I will never use their financing department again because we were treated like xxxx and talked down to the entire time. More

Couldn't Be More Happy I went to Wilde East Towne Honda to check out the 14 Si and see if I wanted to upgrade from my 13 Si.... Shae was the sales rep. that assisted me and I went to Wilde East Towne Honda to check out the 14 Si and see if I wanted to upgrade from my 13 Si.... Shae was the sales rep. that assisted me and showed me the 14 Si. I am an extremely hard person to please and absolutely hate dealing with sales people at a dealership. However, Shae was by far the best sales representative I have ever come in contact with. He listened to what I told him I wanted and at no point and time did he try and push me to buy or try and direct me in any other direction. He went out of his way for me more times than I can count during the process and delivered everything to me just as I had requested. I would not only recommend the dealership but I would Highly recommend anyone to go through Shae as again, I had nothing but an excellent experience and he went out of his way multiple times.
