My journey to a new vehicle started on the internet with Amanda Vnuk. She found me the Prius that I wanted in Illinois. I was told I needed new leaf springs on my Tacoma to cost over $2k, later somewhat lower. I then discovered mine had already been replaced under a recall (confirmed by inspection be independent mechanic). over $2k, later somewhat lower. Neither Wilde or Toyota could explain why second set of springs were defective. Mechanic said springs were fine. Suspect this had to do with me considering trade in for new vehicle. It cost me at least several thousand as I was reluctant to sell privately if there was a problem. We had purchased three vehicles from them but I switched to Honda after this experience. More
