I wanted to take the time to let others be aware of my family's experience with the dealership Williamson Cadillac. The sales department did a great job with making the deal on a price we could agree on, family's experience with the dealership Williamson Cadillac. The sales department did a great job with making the deal on a price we could agree on, however when it came to the finance department is when things went south. It should be noted, we have made multiple purchases using a local credit union which is about two and a half hours away from the dealership where we reside. We were at the dealership on Thursday to make the deal and went first thing Friday morning to the credit union and got approved. It was explained the dealership would have to present the buyers order showing the down payment was received and they would issue the check to the dealership. When we drive another 3 hours because of traffic and rain the Finance Manger Tony refused to release the vehicle until they received the check from the credit union. He then wanted to run the credit that was just run that morning to get approved, so they could have a courtesy contract with a bank of their choosing. Which we would not agree to because it will lower your credit score. Then it is decided to wait until they receive the check from the credit union, which was agreed to, but at the last minute they say we can't take our full size Chevrolet Suburban home and would have to drive around a small Buick Envision which is no where near compatible to a Suburban LTZ or the Escalade ESV that he was purchasing. Everytime you turned around with this Finance Manager it was something else and frustrating because of all the hours spent in the car traveling back and forth to and from the dealership and at the dealership. Glad to see they lost a deal on the last day of the month over a loaner car. After the experience at this dealership I would not recommend it to anyone! I do want to thank salesman Marcos for all his time and effort in this deal, however things were beyond his control. More
