We are sorry General Motors did not approve the repair to the seat cover in your vehicle. For that type of repair they require us to send pictures for them to review. They determined it was something not covered under warranty, not the dealership.

When I spoke to GM representative they said because of what the service writer wrote they denied it, for wear and tear and claimed the dealership can demand replacement, which they won’t. Again, how do you have wear and tear with only 4500 miles. The pictures taken where done indoors and not in sunlight, which shows an issue with the seat, but not the complete discoloration. I have new photos of the issue, but GM won’t accept them, only the dealer can send them.
