I took the car in for recall notification. Before I could say a word the guy calculated that I need 3K worth of work! I asked to check the transmission fluid and he told me they cant do that unless I pay for the trans flush and that was around $800. I paid $250 + for diagnostics because of check engine light. After 32 hours passed I had to call to see if my car was finished. When I picked it up I was given 2 error codes and the cost to fix the 2 issues was around $3,000. I purchased the 2 parts at AutoZone for $165 and it took me less than 2 hours to change the parts. I had an appointment the following Thursday for recalls on my F150 but after the experience I received from my 1st time at Windward Ford I canceled the appointment and will not return and if anyone should ever ask me about Windward Ford they will get the same response I giving now. And by the way, I was also shopping for a new F150 while I was there. More
