We were looking for a new Ford Explorer, so we went looking one Sunday afternoon and ended up at Woody Anderson Ford in Huntsville. While we were there, Adrian drove up on his motorcycle and walked ove looking one Sunday afternoon and ended up at Woody Anderson Ford in Huntsville. While we were there, Adrian drove up on his motorcycle and walked over. We talked for a few moments and then told us to come back on Monday and he would help us find the right one for us. I called him on Monday and we talked on and off all week and then on Friday, I went to see him and look at some Explorers. I didn't really find what I wanted and then Adrian found another one that the sales manager was driving. It was exactly what we wanted, plus several extra nice features. I asked Adrian to give me his best deal on that Explorer, not being sure we would agree on price. He figured everything up, gave me a price, and I was pleasantly surprised that is was lower than I expected. I told him we would take it. Test drove the vehicle and it was very nice. Jason Chicosky handled the paperwork and in no time, we were driving home in our new 2014 Ford Explorer Limited. I was in the market for a new truck. I had visited several other dealerships, but apparently saved the best for last. I was greeted promptly at the showroom lobby by Adrian Koby. He asked me a few simple questions and then secured a golf cart for us to cruise the lot and inspect the avaliable new car inventory. Woody Anderson is a large dealership with a huge inventory. I was immediately impressed with Adrian's knowledge of that on hand inventory. Adrian listened to the features I demanded in my new truck. He didnt try to steer me towards any particular vehicle. Instead, he let me chose and select the right truck for me. He worked tirelessly to make sure all of my questions about the purchase were answered. Adrian went above and beyond the call of duty. He even answered my questions after hours proving to me his dedication to his dealership, to Ford, and most importantly to his customers. I have talked with him several times on the phone before and since the deal has been made and he is a genuinely nice man. I have dealt with some car salesmen that have been too pushy, tried to be overly persuasive, or generally just offended me. Adrian was none of the above and I did not feel like he was "out to get me". I made it clear I had my own financing and that's what I was going to use so that eliminated a portion of the negotiation "game". I was satisfied with the deal. I think we got a decent price. Adrian did not try to cram an "extended warranty" down our throats, and we didn't have to hear anything about "paint protection" (glorified wax) and "fabric stain protection" (scotchgard), so that was refreshing. I will admit I am not an easy person to deal with. Overall, the experience I had at Woody Anderson was good; one of the best buying experiences I've had. Adrian came in on his day off to sign the paperwork for our new vehicle, so I admire him for dedication. He and I share an interest in Subaru performance, so we got to chat about that for a little bit. I have been a lifetime Chevrolet man; I never thought a Ford would be in my driveway. However, since Ford was the only domestic automaker that my tax dollars didn't bail out of a financial disaster, I have a little more respect for them. From the time I parked my car in front of the dealership until I drove off the lot with a great new Ford truck, I was treated like a valued customer and with courteous professionalism. I was assisted early on by Jeff Parker and then Adrian Koby when Jeff got busy with other customers. The hand-off was professional and was welcome in order to avoid wasting time. I was shown the truck and the features were described and questions answered. I test drove the vehicle and had more questions answered. I sat down with the lead salesman and discussed additional add-ons, important information about my options, discounts, rebates, and completed some forms. My salesman was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and all phases of the sales process. I was introduced to the finance manager where we completed the purchase. All forms were explained fully and options discussed. Finally, we were introduced to a young lady who again went over all the features of the truck and paired my phone to the Ford Sync system. At no time during our visit was I treated less than a welcome guest. The price of the new vehicle and the trade-in value offered for my trade were very good. I had done my homework prior to the visit and knew what I needed to trade. Overall, the whole process was pleasant, professional and easy.
