Shady backhanded business practices! I stopped into the dealership to look at a 2004 Acura MDX that was listed on the internet for $5,700. After viewing the vehicle and taking it for a te I stopped into the dealership to look at a 2004 Acura MDX that was listed on the internet for $5,700. After viewing the vehicle and taking it for a test drive I sat down with Dean the sales associate who mind you was very personable and someone I would absolutely by vehicle from and gave him an offer of $5,300 cash no financing necessary. He took the offer to the finance manager and got an approval but upon viewing the final purchase paperwork we notice the final purchase amount was $6,700! As we took a closer look at the paperwork we noticed additional accessory and processing/window etching fees which added up to in excess of $700 which still did not yet include taxes and registration! When I requested that I did not want these options the finance manager refused to do without these edit expenses which then tells me the gratuitous and unnecessary fees were being added in to make up the discount on the starting price!!! I would never recommend this dealership to anyone which is sad because I again have to say that the sales associate Dean is someone I would definitely buy a vehicle from! More

Our salesman, Joe Scarpino, was friendly, courteous, knowledgable, and didn't make us uncomfortable by squeezing us too hard to close the deal, which we appreciated...and then, once we agreed on the terms, he made certain we got the car we wanted, in the color we chose, in a very timely manner. The whole time he was engaged (not looking at his phone, like some salesmen do nowadays!), and he made us feel like he appreciated our business...the car is a total creampuff and we're thrilled to drive it. We think that World VW of Neptune, and Joe, are well-worth recommending to others. More
