I then needed the Polysteel treatment applied to the new bumper. The vehicle was also due for an oil change and routine service. I also wanted to find out why it averages 16 to 17 MPG. When I returned to pick up the vehicle it was obvious that much of the bumper had not even been cleaned off. This was particularly disconcerting, as when the car was purchased and originally treated, the roof was not done. Is this incompetence, laziness or something worse? As to the poor mileage, I was told that it was checked for service codes and none were found. I knew that, but erroneously thought they would check further for the fuel system inefficiency. I should have known better. When I bought this vehicle I was very specific in asking about the mileage, as it factored into my purchase decision. I was told that the window sticker was accurate, 18 to 23 with a combined 21. Including several long trips I have only once averaged above 21 MPG and I have had this vehicle nine months. Also, the average MPG shown on the instrument panel is never accurate. I will say that the employees are always very pleasant. Perhaps my experience with the service department is not typical, although I do have reason to believe otherwise. More

I don't think there are many inventories in the area I haven't looked at. Over the coarse of these 6 months I talked to several salemen at Younger Nissan at different times. I've enjoyed the no-pressure atmoshere and friendly, relaxed demeanor of the salesmen I talked to. I test drove cars on 3 different occassions and they let me leave with no hassle every time, which was the opposite of what I experienced at most other dealerships. I recently bought a 2012 Versa from Younger Nissan. It had 25K miles listed at $11,900, which was below KBB value. I got a loaner car today while my car got polysealed and the whole experience was pleasant. For me Younger Nissan has a relaxed and pleasant atmoshere. There services have been efficient. They've extended me great communication via phone and email both in their sales and service department. I've received excellent customer service everytime I've walked through the door thus far. I even recieved a voice mail welcoming me "to the family." I feel well taken care of there, which gives me peace of mind. More

Bad business experience - BUYER/SHOPPER BEWARE First off - I never write reviews - but if I can save somebody from the experience that we went through - it will make me feel good. Contacted sal First off - I never write reviews - but if I can save somebody from the experience that we went through - it will make me feel good. Contacted sales rep (Jesse Kincaid) to get a price quote on new Nissan Armarda. Jesse came back with a price that was fair but not any better than my local Nissan dealer. I thanked him for his time and told him that I found it less expensive locally. Jesse then came back with a price that was hard to refuse at $20,000 with trade and told me that they were a volume dealer and that they can discount their vehicles because of this. But I had to come down that day - being it was month end (April). That was not doable. So we dropped the issue. He (Jesse) contacted us again and told us if we came down over the weekend he would honor the price he quoted us. His actual words: "If you come down on Saturday we will keep the price the same." So to my husband and I thought the $1400 we were saving was worth the 2.5 hour drive. Now mind you I have a trade and I sent him pictures and VIN number knowing that his online appraisal was subject to change. He told me the rage it would fall in. I told him that we wanted an out-the-door price before we came - knowing that it could fluctuate because of our trade. I told him we didn't want to make the trip and get down there and have the price change with hidden fees, etc. He stated we do not do that here. I reaffirmed everything asking if he made sure the PA taxes were figured in and he said the price included everything. We did not want any surprises. We drove 2.5 hours on Friday to meet with Jesse and sign papers. They appraised my trade $500 more than what he had done over email pictures. Which was fine - we were not looking to recoup the overage on the new appraisal since his offer was so good. His online appraised quote was $27,000 and the actual dealer was offering $27,500 for my trade. (we didn't owe anything on our trade and wanted to pay cash) We took the new Armada for a test drive and came back to sit down and do paper work and that's when the runaround/surprises started! He went down through the worksheet, with my trade and the new Armada the bottom line stated $22,000 - $600 more than the dealer 10 minutes from my house. My husband just about went nutz. Jesse was stating I told you the appraisal could change based on actually seeing the trade, that's where the difference is. HUH? Yes Jesse it did change - $500 to our benefit. He really could not talk his way through it - so he went to get his manager Eric Royer. This was not Eric's fault - however my husband was furious at this time. Eric stated I am not sure where Jesse came up with these numbers - we cannot offer this deal. They didn't even counter. After my husband vented - we left and drove 2.5 hours back home. What a waist of time. Jesse was very inconsiderate of other people and as far as I am concerned a very bad sales person. I could never do that to anyone! Not sure if he thought the bait would work with us - but it didn't. Not a good experience at Younger Nissan - Jesse is a bad representation for the dealership. Buyer/Shopper Beware. More

I was allowed to take the new vehicle out for a test drive; but when it came to negotiating to meet my budgeted price, there was no attempt to make things work for me. Their attitute was "accept what we have to offer or go to another dealer." I guess they don't want my business and that a single customer is not that important to them. That's too bad. I never had such treatment all the years I was purchasing Toyotas. Maybe I need to go back to buying a Toyota or at least try another Nissan dealer. More

I emailed an inquiry through cars.com and had a response in less than an hour, despite the fact that it was a Sunday afternoon. I responded and said I would be at the dealership on Monday morning. I arrived, met with Sean, test drove the vehicle, and then proceeded to buy it. It was the first time I have bought a vehicle without ANY pressure from the saleman. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone and already have on two occasions mainly because of Sean. More
2014 Rogue, first 5000 mile Oil Change, Tire Rotation Hello Doug & Gary, I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday weekend, and when you have a moment, I hope you will review this e-mail and provide your Hello Doug & Gary, I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday weekend, and when you have a moment, I hope you will review this e-mail and provide your feedback. I am sending this e-mail as a function of a few surprises I encountered when I brought my 2014 Rogue into your shop Saturday morning (Apr. 18, 2014) for its 1st scheduled 5,000 mile oil change and tire rotation. If you remember, we (Gary, Kyle and myself) had previously discussed the change in maintenance intervals between my former Versa and the Rogue and it was explained to me that a new oil was being used, a synthetic blend and that supported my 5,000 vs. 3,000 mile interval between scheduled oil changes. As of this past Saturday my Rogue had 4,798 miles on it, and when Sergiu reported to me my vehicle was ready to go, he also reported to me upon my asking, that the oil used for my oil change was not the 0W20 synthetic recommended in my maintenance manual, but a Mobil Special X1 5W30 (also, mentioned in my maintenance documentation as an acceptable alternative), an oil I now understand is not even a synthetic blend, but a normal petroleum based oil. The oil change placard placed on the windshield of my Rogue indicates my next scheduled oil change should be at 8,548 (3,750 mile interval), not at all consistent with the maintenance documentation for my vehicle!? If Younger Nissan is, for whatever reason, unable to utilize a grade of oil that supports the maintenance documentation associated with my vehicle, I surely do not want to drive 5,000 miles between oil changes using standard petroleum based oil. Another surprise I encountered was that, despite what my maintenance documentation specifies, your team unilaterally elected to disregard that documentation and not perform the scheduled tire rotation, but Sergiu reported it would be done on my next oil change. Personally I don’t know exactly why Nissan dictated in my vehicle’s documentation that a tire rotation should be accomplished at each 5,000 mile interval, I had always considered 7,500 to be a reasonable interval, but, the maintenance documentation does specify that, and I was just surprised it wasn’t handled as per my documentation. In addition to the points above, when I got my Rogue back, I found no protective paper in the driver side, but I did have a 4-6 inch dark smudge on my new carpet. I also found oil spilled around the Oil filler port, and while neither the carpet smudge nor the spilled oil, in and of themselves, are major issues, it is the underlying principal that to me is very unsettling, i.e., it just reflects a significant lack on conscientiousness and attention to detail, and that sort of demeanor can lead to all kinds of bigger problems. In my opinion, this Rogue is a marvelous piece of automotive engineering and has been yielding better than expected gas mileage as I commute back and forth to Gaithersburg daily, with my present best mpg for the 31 mile commute being 36.4 mpg and the average to date equal to 30.3 mpg. As the weather has warmed, I am getting even better gas mileage. Please let me know what I should expect from Younger Nissan service department with regard to my owners’ maintenance documentation, the specified maintenance intervals, the optimum oil to be used and tire rotations. If using an oil consistent with the recommended maintenance intervals in my maintenance documentation is a matter of cost to Younger Nissan, I will be happy to pay the cost differential, even during the proposed 5 free oil changes. I appreciate your time to review my comments and provide feedback. Best regards, Fred Hoffert Vin # 5N1AT2MV0EC762422 More

Anytime I had a question he quickly got back to me and was always available but never pushy. When I was finally ready to buy my wife and I drove from Perryvile MD to Frederick and I asked to drive 3 Frontiers. I never felt pressured and Jesse was very accommodating and informative. There was no surprise price. These guys will sell you a truck for the listed internet price. There is no future farmer of america or USAA price figured in that most people never qualify for, just a good low price. Overall, a great low pressure experience. I highly recommend Jesse Kincaid and Younger Nissan. Its worth the drive and the area the dealer is in is quite nice, so you can always grab lunch or enjoy Frederick while you are car shopping. More

I was greeted immediately by Sergiu who explained all that was included in the general and multi point inspection service. I asked if it would be at all possible to wash the very dirty car. He said absolutely! But please allow for a little extra time beyond the express service. Of course I would, half surprised that he would fulfill this request at all! In a short time he delivered the car serviced and CLEAN. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but it was huge for me as we haven't been able to wash the car in many months. Imagine my delight at getting this errand done promptly, reasonably priced and no charge for the wash! Thank you Sergiu and team for making my holiday a Good Friday indeed! And for making me feel like a "preferred customer" once again. Mrs. David Pincus More
