We came into this dealership after seeing a car online that we were extremely interested in. After the test drive, we were ready to buy. When talking price with our sales guy, we found out that the car ha that we were extremely interested in. After the test drive, we were ready to buy. When talking price with our sales guy, we found out that the car had gone up $8,000 online since when we looked last night. The sales manager Scott Waller came to talk to us and said he would make some calls because an error had been made. When he came back, he mumbled a story about not being worried about selling the car and that “it’s like a sale at Best Buy and it’s over now” which contradicted what he previously said. He told us that if we had been watching the price online we should have come in sooner if we really wanted. When we stated that we had just had a baby, he interrupted and said that he understood but we were unrealistic with our budget and price points. The pre-approved loan we had with us said otherwise. Instead of taking accountability for the mistake and trying to find a solution, Scott found a way to blame everyone else, including us as the customer. He never once talked to us about cars on the lot that were similar to what we were looking for. Due to his demeaning manner, we walked away without purchasing a vehicle. I have purchased a lot of vehicles in my life. Never before have I felt like I was being undermined and manipulated by a salesperson like my experience at Zeigler Hyundai. They took a $18,900 vehicle and turned it into a $25,000 vehicle with the extras that they tried to through into the mix. There was actually a line on the invoice that said, "other charges". They couldn't tell me what the charge was and ultimately removed the charge. On the trade in, we were told not to put a date on the title which seemed very under-handed and shady to me. After some deliberation, we dated the title and moved on to the next debacle. I put $1000 down on the car the previous night. I came in the next day with a pre-approved loan, insurance taken care of and it still took 3 hours to get this deal taken care of. I know Sean was trying to do his job, but he needs to be more prepared to answer questions that come up. I asked questions, he would have to go ask someone else to get an answer. Overall, I doubt seriously if I would ever purchase another vehicle at this establishment. What should have been a nice, easy, smooth transaction, turned into a painful three-hour car purchasing experience that I wouldn't want to go through again. Robert More
