Brought my Sierra in for an oil change and tire rotation. I mentioned to Kyle, the service adviser, that was a knock in the front end when I turned the wheels fully to the right or left. Kyle checked the service bulletins and found a bulletin to tighten the control arm bolts. They had my truck serviced and the control arm bolts done in about an hour. I would recommend Chris Myers highly to anyone.

I PURCHASED A 2017 BUICK ENVISION WITH A LITTLE OVER 6500 MILES ON IT IN OCTOBER OF 2020. THE MIRROR WAS BROKEN ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AND THE SALESMAN, KENNETH R. LAPIERRE, AND HIS BOSS ASSURED US THEY WOULD BRING US A MIRROR TO REPLACE THE BROKEN ONE AT NO COST - EVEN SAID THEY WOULD BRING IT OUT TO MY HOUSE TO INSTALL IT.
MY MIRROR IS STILL BROKEN. WE HAVE MADE 2 TRIPS DOWN THERE AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE A EXCUSE OF SOME KIND AS TO WHY THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET A REPLACEMENT MIRROR. IT ALSO HAS A "GAS SAVER" FEATURE THEY DID NOT TELL US ABOUT (FEELS LIKE IT IS GOING DEAD WHEN YOU STOP). WE INQUIRED ABOUT HAVING THAT FEATURE REMOVED AND THEY TELL US IT CANNOT BE REMOVED ON THE 2017 BUICKS. I AM VERY UPSET WITH THE DEALERSHIP AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM IF THIS IS THE WAY THEY TREAT THEIR OLDER CUSTOMERS.

Correction, I did not bring the truck to Barkley because I was having issues with it. That is not a true statement.
I brought the truck to Barkley because I wanted a lift kit instead of a leveling kit that I had installed.
Regardless where I brought the truck from, that should not have been brought up since I was paying for a service unless they had an issue with the fact that I did not buy it from them which was obvious.
The bottom line is I have spent $2800.00 at Barkley on a lift kit and my truck is still not right.
I can live with losing $2800.00 and writing it off as a learning lesson not to ever do business with Barkley GMC ever again. I was warned ahead of time but did not listen. Barkley has a horrible reputation and it is only getting worse. I will continue to share my experience with everyone that I know!

We've been in business here at Barkley since 1980 and have had the honor and privilege of serving our customers for a long time. We value our customers and employees. We strive to treat every customer with respect and provide the best service available. We are deeply disappointed that this situation did not turn out as we would have liked, but sometimes there's more to the story than just repairing the vehicle.
Mr. Jones has a 2021 GMC Sierra that he took to a competing service center and had a leveling kit and other parts installed that were not the correct parts for his truck. Since these were not the correct parts for his truck, they caused damage to his truck. He then brought his truck to Barkley to have these problems corrected. Clearly, Mr. Jones was unhappy that he was going to have to spend money to correct these problems and spoke disrespectfully to our shop foreman and our people in service. He insulted them in a disrespectful way, which was uncalled for and won't be tolerated. The service took longer than he expected and when his truck was returned to him, he was not satisfied with the alignment. We asked him to bring it back and let us recheck it and make it right. He brought it back and we honored our word to make it right and re-aligned his truck.
Mr. Jones didn't buy his truck from Barkley , if he had, we probably could have advised him on having his truck leveled and lifted with the right parts for his truck and saved him lots of headaches. He is right, we do offer preferential services to customers that purchase from us, it's one of the benefits of being part of the Barkley family.

Horrible experience, I spent $2800.00 have my 2021 truck worked on and it is still not right. I am have to take it to somewhere else to be fixed correctly.
Plus the owner was very rude and made comments because I purchased the truck somewhere else.

Very polite, very courteous staff, the appointment was right on schedule as promised and I was very pleased at the quickness of the service department’s expert skilled mechanics. The Service Department was a pleasure to deal with. Rick Smith was great with communication and was always on top of the situations. Mike Merz the mechanic came out and personally walked me through the process of what was done. He walked me through what was happening and the detail was incredible. This is the first time I have ever dealt with a dealer for service, based on usually having friends who can fix anything, however with the time and concern Courtesy GMC Service Department showed me, I will be using them for many years to come.
