We had a great Experience . . . - mdshay1123
First a little background information: We are from Minnesota, entering our 12th year of RVing and have been coming to Arizona for seven years now. Two and half years ago, we purchased a Winegard Trav'ler Satellite Dish at an estimated cost of $2,500.00 installed by and from CAMPING WORLD of TUCSON, AZ. This unit comes with a 2 year limited warranty. We purchased an Extended Two Year Warranty for $200 (part of the $2,500).
While on our way to Yuma this year, our 2.5 year old Satellite Dish stopped working due to a “motor stall.” When we arrived in Tucson, it was 2 days before Thanksgiving. After getting set-up in an RV Park, near Camping World, I contacted and spoke with the Store's Retail Manager: James Geringer. He immediately arranged a diagnosis appointment for the next day.
After determining what was needed, James and his assistant: Rosie bent over backwards to contact Winegard and get them to send the repair parts out to CW the same day, so if all went well, the parts would arrive a.s.a.p. after Thanksgiving.
The parts arrived on Monday, which was fantastic considering the long Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. There was technical prep work required, assembly needed and all done to the Turret Base – Winegard #SK-SMOO on Monday. Our 5th wheel was scheduled for repair on Tuesday. Throughout all this time, James or Rosie provided up-to-date and on-going communications, which we appreciated because it told us we were being well looked after.
In addition to the above, our “pin box” needed adjustment attention. Doug in another part of the Service Dept. coordinated attention and repair for the pin box need. Our unit was returned to us by Noon on Tuesday.
We COULD NOT be more pleased with the experience we had at CAMPING WORLD TUCSON. The whole process was much more complicated and intricate than I could convey in my review. It was all handled extremely well. Our hats are off to James, Rosie, Doug and technician: jray. We have always been treated well at the CAMPING WORLD of TUCSON and we wanted others to know about our experience. We were NOT paid for my review. By Mike and Sandy S. of Minnesota
Gave the service department 5 stars last year, if I could... - Tim Yacovone
Gave the service department 5 stars last year, if I could give them 6 stars this year I would. Gave them a long list to do this year, they ran down my list and not only took care of needed repairs, but told me what I didn't need. I am in the service related industry my self on heavy vehicles, these guy are great.
Affinity RV had the travel trailer we were looking for... - Kyle
Affinity RV had the travel trailer we were looking for our salesman JD was responsive and pushed to get our trailer during the tough COVID market. The trailer was perfect for our family and appreciate the team working with us throughout the process. The manufacturer's rep was difficult to receive updates from but understood the complexity of the current material shortages.
High integrity and honesty - BobTheBuilder
Our 5th wheel was destroyed and we were desperately looking for a similar replacement without much luck. I finally located what appeared to be a pristine BH 3670RL at Landon's RV in Mesa for a fair asking price. I immediately called and told the sales person, Josh VanVaukenburg, our situation and that I wanted it. I still work full time plus having to deal with insurance and unload the destroyed unit. It was all totally consuming to the point I could not travel to Mesa to see the unit. I told Josh I would buy it sight unseen, wanted them to install a bedroom AC, do a thorough inspection and deliver it. When I told him I was still dealing with insurance but could go ahead and send a substantial deposit since I wanted them to start immediately, his response was if I trusted him he trusted me and I didn't need to send a deposit!
By the end of the next day they had worked all day, had the AC in and were taking care on truly nit picking items. Josh did a long walk through video he posted for us that was amazing in detail. He was also very responsive to all phone calls and emails. I am highly pleased with Josh and Landon's. I believe they are meticulous and of high integrity and have no qualms about trusting them.
The salesman Joe was very disrespectful of me as a customer - Ronnie
I talked to Joe from Auto Boss RV of and on for around a couple three months about an rv I found on a site and watched a video about the rv he had posted on YouTube. Seemed like such a good deal and the rv was almost perfect. I called him and told him I bought the plane ticket to fly down and pick it up if it was as he described. He had over a week to get it ready for my 19 hour trip home. I flew there and he picked me up at the airport. To my surprise he said he had the rv at the workshop and decided to fix a few things on it and again when I got there I was surprised they had put on new decals and done some paint work and not to touch the paint. Well according to the video it was almost perfect although Joe did tell me of some imperfections before my flight there, but I was surprised they had to do some paint work.
Anyway it all looked ok and so now I thought I would start with the engine. I fired it up and went straight to the tranny and pulled the dipstick and the oil was plum black with grit like sand was in the tranny. ( It must of gotten hot and the grit was probably clutch material) So any way I told them no deal and Joe said that there were two kinds of people who come to buy an rv. Those who come and close the deal and those who come to find an excuse to no buy the rv. I asked him if he really meant it and he said he did. Well you do the math. It would have been a lot cheaper and easier to just call this creep and tell him I was not interested instead of flying there just to be stranded for two days and without any wheels to get around. But it ended pretty well have a couple extra days and $700.00 later as I found a better deal at Superstition RV and treated a lot better than Joe at Auto Boss.
Now in the reviews Joe return a reply to my review that I was rude towards his staff and that is why he said what he said and he would do it again. That is not even close to the truth. Maybe Joe was having a bad day because I asked him if he talked to other customers that was and he said he did. So guess I leave it up to you. Never been treated that way.

I waited two weeks for an appointment.
After getting the appointment, it took another two weeks before anyone even looked at my fifth wheel. Inspection, cleaning and sealing the fiberglass roof was the main job along with brakes and wheel packing and furnace motor repair. Two weeks later after numerous calls, the RV was done. Nobody spoke to me about the repairs, just collected $2,450 and gave me the keys. I climbed up to the roof to look, it was filthy, never cleaned. The sealing was done, but
after the first rain storm, the roof had
leaks in three different places. On the positive side, the furnace motor does work well and the brakes and wheel packing also seem good but overall a TERRIBLE experience!
No Sales support, No service at all, won't even return calls - lynn
I purchased a practically new 2018 Class A motor home from LaMesa RV on July 20th 2020. So far this has been the worst experience I have ever had in my 30+ years of RV ownership. The coach as a severe carbon monoxide leak and I can't get anyone at LaMesa RV to even talk to me. If you're able to get anyone to answer the phone, they forward the call to the voice mail for a supposed service advisor that NEVER returns the call. They talk the talk about customer service, but I have never experienced any company as bad as LaMesa RV is in Port St. Lucie. BUYER BEWARE!
HORRIBLE Service Dept. !! I went in person on Monday... - mmh
HORRIBLE Service Dept. !! I went in person on Monday Sept. 21st to set up an appt. for my 2006 35 ft. Jayco Seneca Motorhome and spoke to Russ. He said bring it in on Thur. the 24th. My step was stuck out and would not retract, also I had no interior power, no generator, and no water flow. I explained to Russ that I had to have it back by Oct 12th ( 19 DAYS) as I was leaving town with it on Oct. 14th. I stopped by on Oct. 5th and asked Russ how it was going with the repairs. He looked at his computer and said he didn't have any updates, but would check and let me know. I never heard back. I began calling every day and leaving messages and never heard back from Russ. Richard took several of those messages. On Monday Oct. 12th at 2:30 , ( the day I was supposed to pick it up ) I finally got hold of Russ . I said Russ is my motorhome ready for pick up, he got pissed off and said he didn't know but would call me back by 3:30 . He called me back and said everything was working fine. I thanked him and said I would pick it up the next morning. When I received my motorhome that morning I began checking out all the previously failed systems. Now the step would not open out and was stuck under the coach, there was still no electric power, and no water, no generator !! I went back in and got Russ and the service tech to come out to my coach. I asked them to make everything work, and they could not ! I lost it and said " Russ you have had my coach for 20 f....ing days, and nothing works. Russ said as he and the tech walked away, " it's your f...ing problem now . " I went in to talk to the service manager Rick and was told he would see me soon. I was standing out side of Ricks office when Russ went in and leaned over and began talking to Rick. The door was open and I could see it all. Russ left and closed the door. I waited for about 10 minutes and then asked again to see Rick. I waited another 10 minutes or so and then just left. Also, about a year ago, my motor home was there for 3 months for some body work, Glad I didn't need it any time soon ! Got it back covered with over spray all over the cab and wind shield. And last but not least, before all of this , I had a faulty flow valve on my toilet. I did not check it there ( should have ) but when I got going on my trip and turned on the water, the toilet would not shut off and would over flow. The valve was installed backwards ! So in order to keep water functioning every where else, we had to reach under the toilet and manually turn the toilet on and off. The service dept. does not care, and the service manager cares less !! I paid 160K for my motorhome and bought it from them and financed through them. World Wide has made a lot of money from me, but I guess once you drive off, .... the deal is done as far as there service dept. thinks. I will never go back or recommend them .
Smooth from start to finish - Tucandave
We were looking at bigger 5th wheels. We had been to a few dealers but nelsons stood out to us. No pressure sales, no DEALER PREP FEES they got it ready and did a walk thru/ orientation and fixed everything we saw. Robert met us in the pouring rain and gave my wive a umbrella and took us to the first rv we wanted to see. It was smooth. We picked the one we wanted and i went to my CU for loan and we went back and forth with paperwork.
We set time to pick up for nov 2ed was a very smooth process and they gave a starter rv kit.
The best part came when i got back to my campground discoverd i had a bad power cable that goes to pedistal, called them and james got me on phone with one of his guys we cordnated to meet half way from them and benson and got me a new cable.
I am very happy and my wife is to.
This is my 3rd rv and by far the best experience
And the Jayco was marked under blue book.
