I can't say enough good things about this dealership. On my drive from Iowa to Scottsdale this year, I hit a "major" pothole on Hwy 54 in the Texas panhandle. It blew a hole in my right front tire, and put a big dent in the rim. I drove 200 miles to Albuquerque where I was able to replace the tire. They told me that I should replace the rim as soon as I could because they had difficulty getting it to hold a bead. When I got to Scottsdale, I checked Mazda dealerships in the area, and found that there are three. I went to the first one, which was only a mile from me. I waited for fifteen minutes at both the service and the parts counter, and nobody came to help. I went to the next one, which was closer to me than Berge. There the parts department told me that they couldn't get me a new rim until April 10th. Since I'm driving back home on March 23rd, that wouldn't work. I then went to Berge, the dealer farthest from me, hoping for the best. The parts manager, Ryan Ploof, checked and said it would take until April 10th to get the rim, but then asked me if he could look at alternatives for me. Of course I said yes! He came back 15 minutes later, and said he could get the correct rim (just a different color) by the next day. I said, please go ahead and order. I then went to the service department and talked with Paul Rupp. I explained the situation to him, and he scheduled me to get the new rim installed in two days. At the same time, he said they would handle the recall that was out on my 2019 Mazda 3. Took the car in today. The new rim was installed, and the recall service was completed. I can't say enough good things about Ryan, Paul and the team at Berge. Thank you!!

I purchased my dodge avenger at mazda. The purchase and sales experience was excellent. Kudos to the sales department. My issue was every experience I had with the service department was ridiculous and a drawn out process. Ranging from 2 hour waits for a simple oil change to waiting 2 weeks for repairs to be accomplished and being threatened to have my rental taken away because it was not going to be covered even though it was the dealerships fault my car messed up. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone even though the sales staff is amazing and friendly, the service staff is crap.
When you think of a Car Salesmen you automatically think... - Jessica.Igharo
When you think of a Car Salesmen you automatically think of someone who is non-trustworthy and someone who is just trying to screw you over. Well if you go to CardinaleWay Mazda – Peoria that’s exactly what you get!!! Not only did Paddy who was our Salesperson do that but she did it whit such charm and ease. From the moment we walked in there you could feel how desperately she was trying to just get us to sign the paperwork. She promised us 4 years of free maintenance services since they could noy negotiate on the price of the car itself, since “Mazda” does not offer that. They offered us to pay a big part of the down payment now and then another $150 2 weeks later. We ended up not getting a copy of any paperwork till the last payment was made. I drove to the dealership (35min) after speaking to Paddy and making the last down payment. After arriving at the dealership, I was informed that they could not give me the paperwork. Then Paddy said she would drop off the paperwork at my house and that never happened. I called and called and no on would ever call me back. I finally got a hold of someone that informed me that the paperwork was mailed. It never arrived. I finally drove to the dealership again. After waiting for over 30 min I was finally handed my contract for that car that I had bought almost a month ago. Sure, as xxxx did they no only lie about the 4 years free service but they added a $1250.00 fee on to the price of the car to get a service for 4 years. Now the last time I checked free means $0. When calling about this and trying to get this figured out they lied and lied and lied. Bottom line is they lied promised us a free service that never happened and smuggled and extra $1250.00 into my contract. DO NOT GO THERE AT ALL!!! Save your money and go to a better and honest dealership.
watch out - kim2016
So the good news is this dealership is closed. My last service visit for an oil change resulted in the service advisor coming out to the customer lounge to tell me the car needed a number of service items. When I pointed out three of those recommended service were completed at my prior visit with them, the service advisor excused himself. Fifteen minutes later he tells me the mechanic failed to check their computer records. What a load of “bull”.

1. Bought a brand new Mazda CX5 in Oct 2017. Because i wouldn't buy an extended warranty they charged me a higher finance rate.. .After letting someone else know they did call me and fix the problem.
2. When the AZ weather heated up all my dashboard functions lit up alerting me that the smart brakes, camera, etc were not working. After letting the dealer know, they assured me it was because it was probably because of the heat and everything would still work. My question: why would they sell that car in AZ or at least warn consumers?
3. At 27,000, the engine light came on and no factory warranty. I made an APPOINTMENT to get a diagnostic. At the end of the day they never got around to it.. Just to diagnose the issue? Why make an appt???
4. DON'T buy a Mazda...I'm shopping for a brand that stands by the products and the service they sell!
