My salesperson (Rick Bruno) worked hard to find me just the right Jeep Cherokee. He was
very professional and friendly and made sure I was happy with my purchase.
Vehicle Damage - Keithw1104
2019 ram white was towed in for service. Vehicle had no damage done to it. When I received the vehicle back (at night) I simply drove home. The following day I noticed blue markings on the drive side mirror from where it was hit going into a service lift, the passenger side mirror had wall damage from were it scraped against the building. I spoke with a manager and he said it was not his facility that caused the damage nor was he going to review video of the occurrence. FYI @holden dodge lifts are blue. So now all I can do is simply strongly encourage you to inspect your vehicle after service from them.
60 Days After Purchase and still dealing with them. - cwilson
I'm nearing 60 days since I purchased a 2019 cherokee from this dealership. My temp tags are almost expired so I decided to reach out to the dealership asking when my registration would arrive and to ask why I hadn't received a referral payment of $50.00 for referring someone to them the week I purchased the jeep. The response was that I provided them the payoff, which I did but what dealership doesn't call to follow up with the bank to make sure the numbers are correct, things with interest change daily. Either way they're now telling me they will apply my "referral" to an outstanding balance on my trade and I still owe them $91.00. 60 days no plates no communication why and now I owe them money. Seems shady like they didn't want to pay the referral which I didn't even know I was getting anyway until the person that purchased the car told me. Either way why no communication from the dealership, guess they would have just allowed my temp tag to expire and not reach out to me. I have purchased 29 vehicles in my life and never have I had this happen. Buyer beware because even after 60 days this dealership can haunt you.
Worst experience ever! - austinthedog
I inquired last Saturday with Newark Chrysler Jeep in regard to buying a new Dodge Challenger Scat Pack. I did this on the web site. I spoke to a salesman Chris Smith who gave me a quote for a vehicle. When I went on Monday to speak with him he raised the price of the vehicle by $3000. I had found a vehicle in Baltimore and had been quoted a price. He told my wife and I if you can buy that vehicle for that price I suggest you go to Baltimore. He also undervalued my trade in also a Dodge Challenger by more than $3000, which the dealership I eventually bought my vehicle gave me the additional $3000. When I pointed out to him he my vehicle was worth much more than that he stated listen your vehicle is worth what it is worth. He was so unprofessional and demeaning. At that point we left the dealership never to darken it's door again. Worst experience ever! The salesman was not helpful at all and put zero effort into selling us a car. He was obnoxious and condescending.I would advise if you are looking for a new Dodge go somewhere else. Find a dealer who cares and values customer service. Obviously this dealership does not. Avoid Newark Chrysler Jeep at all costs!
Padded Bills - libtcher
I took my Jeep in for 30,000 mile service. That included replacing 4 spark plugs, replace air filter, and throttle service.. I got my bill and did not mind paying the bill. The reason for such a low rating they padded the bill with a so called "EPA FEE" which was $34.66. If they are padding everyones service bill they need to be investigated!! I'm sure that FEE is not going to the EPA but in their pocket. Unfortunately they now have lost me as a customer and I will never recommend them.
