Awful Experience and False Advertising - sam14ch
Will never go back, the business practices are apparently to use false advertising to get you onto the lot. I went onto Kelley Blue Book to look up the trade in value of my car and they called me saying they were interested in buying my car at full KBB cash value. Before going in I called back and asked if they were actually going to pay the full value or if it would be a situation in which I had to fight for the price. I was assured that they would just double check that everything I entered was accurate and I would get full value. Obviously I knew they would attempt to make it into a trade-in scenario however I said that I was not looking to buy on the spot because I want to do research before purchasing a new car, especially amidst a pandemic with income being unreliable. The response I received from the salesman was that if I did not do a trade in on the spot they wouldn't even be interested in buying my car for half of what its worth on KBB. Not to mention neither the salesman nor a service member looked at my car to verify the value.
