We are from Ohio and were visiting family in Round Lake, Illinois when our ‘check transmission’ light came on in our Honda Pilot. Not wanting to continue driving, we called Honda dealerships in the area and they weren’t willing to check it out until Saturday, or even the upcoming week. (This happened on July 3). Honda Libertyville was the fourth dealership we called and the only one that told us to bring it in to check it out. James in the service dept was more than nice, explained things and reassured us that the Pilot is safe to drive back to Ohio. The cashier was super sweet as well and while talking to her found out that she attends OSU-small world! We can not thank Libertyville Honda enough!

Two of your employees, Nicki, the service advisor, and Carlos, who shuttled me home were very helpful, Their patience in answering my questions, and their willingness to share their knowledge was more appreciated than they know. Service advisor kept me appraised of the progress made and checked to see if I needed anything while I waited for the vehicle. Extremely pleasant experience.

This was one-time experience: new car under warranty wouldn't start. Was towed to Bredemann Toyota, and they took care of it. Everything was perfect: promptly called as soon as the car arrived to them, listened. suggested scheduled maintenance, explained what's covered; on the next day fixed the car, including replacing bad battery that failed load test; promptly called and said that the car is ready for pickup. The pickup itself was fast and with zero problems. I should mention that had the car not been under warranty, I wouldn't even think about going to _any_ dealership for repairs.

I own a new 2024 Seltos, bought at another Kia dealer. within 800 miles I picked up a nail and a tire went flat. For me this was an emergency, because I was taking a trip and did not want to run the highway on the spare. It was late in the work day, but Pedro Mata, understood my circumstance and allowed me to bring my car in for tire repair / replacement. I was really surprised at how "out-of-the-way" accommodating Pedro was. I am deeply grateful for that kind if service to a Kia owner who bought from a competitor. Recently my son and I each purchased our vehicles from your dealership. About 14 days after my son purchased his (first) car, it started to have significant issues while we were running errands on a Saturday. We immediately called and drove straight to your location. Honestly, I was angry and felt awful for my son, that saved and put down $ 12K of his own money. That day, we worked with Ishmael in the service department, Larry Sweiss (Used Car Sales Manager) and Nick Garcia our Salesman. Had to leave the car for a few days to be inspected. The next few days waiting for an answer was rough. But then, you guys came through!! Spoke with Larry Sweiss, and it turned out that the fuel pump had failed and there was a recall on the air conditioner condenser. He took care of everything. The customer service that I received, from beginning to end was a true “Home Run”. It was a collective victory thanks to Ishmael, Nick, and Larry. “Real customer service” isn’t just placating the customer in the moment and then dropping the ball before the finish line…It is “following through until the end”….You guys did that, and I cannot express how much that meant to my family and I. We have purchased two beautiful vehicles from Nick Garcia, and I am sure they won’t be the last. Will be sure to refer friends and family to Nick at Kia International Orland. Most places you have to call 6-7 times before they answer. Super responsive, helpful, and explained things in a way most people can understand.
