oil change and tire rotation; rear brakes redone - shorner
Had oil changed on Wednesday, I think, and scheduled the brake work for Thursday. Dealership was kind enough to deliver vehicle to my work site.
When I took the car out Friday morning, I was a bit unnerved to find a lug nut on the floor of my garage. I checked all the lug nuts on the vehicle, and they seemed to be fine. The service manager checked with the technician, who said a nut was missing when the car came in.
My guess is the nut was loose from the tire rotation two days earlier and came off sometime between the oil change and the brake job.

We were pulling a large 5th wheel trailer with our Dodge RAM 3500 when our diesel fuel tank came loose and was dragging the highway. We limped into Dan Brenner Ford. Everyone was great to us, dropped what they were doing and came out to take a look. Chance rolled under the truck on a creeper and checked out the situation. Rolled out and announced, "No problem" I'll have you fixed in no time. And he did. We were back out on I-70 less than an hour after we had limped in. I can't say enough about the service. And we weren't even driving a Ford. They only charged us $40.

I bought a car from Lewis Ford for my daughter Sept 2019. After only a few short months we had many issues. Took the car to a Ford dealership where we live at the end of April. First off because there was a nail in the tire so was losing air, but other than that, the hood release latch inside the cabin was inoperative. When it rained the vehicle abs and brake lights come on in addition to the steering becoming inoperative. There was an issue with the front wheel speed sensor. Only after a few short months!!!! That visit cost me $237. Just a little over a month later in June the check engine light came on and the car wouldn't go over 60. Took it in again. That diagnosis visit was over $70, Stated water pump was leaking, but it was going to cost $1000 to fix. Don't have the money on the whim so had to wait until we could get the funds together to pay for it. July 3rd we had the money and took it back in and had the waterpump replaced. Bill ended up being $889. Still, plenty of money! My daughter didn't get her car back but for about a week and a half and the engine blew. We haven't had the car for even a year and have had it in the shop many many times in that short time! Over $3000 to replace the engine, more if at the dealership. Called Lewis Ford where we purchased the car, they contacted the extended warranty company. They sent out a guy to get a diagnosis. Came back with that the car wasn't properly maintained. THAT'S CRAP!! I provided oil receipts, all of the invoices from the dealership, etc. We took that car in every single time it had any sort of noise, issue or light came on. Clearly! The car was bought for close to $11,000, we put half down so still have a decent loan on this car and now have to pay over $3000 or better for a new engine? Frustrated, called Lewis Ford and they also stated they couldn't do anything. I am going to the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General of Kansas and directly to Ford Motor Company. This is terrible business!! The engine for this car should be covered. That's what extended warranties are for. Don't give me the excuse that we didn't maintenance the vehicle when we sure had it in the shop many many times to keep anything worse from happening. I'd love a call back from a manager that can explain to me how this is good customer service?
Now I do want to add, I worked with Whitey, but he did all he could. He called the Ford dealership here in Topeka and worked with the service manager. He called me back and didn't leave me hanging. It's Lewis Ford that I have an issue with. So my one star Customer Service rating is on the dealership, not Whitey.

I came from out of state to buy a truck from them. They facilitated the whole process. They gave me an amazing trade value, and an awesome price on the truck I bought. Adam took great care of me and followed through with all of the small details. While I did my paperwork, he switched the license plates, filled it up with a full tank, put floor mats in it, and moved all of my paperwork over to the new truck. I felt like they made me their priority. And for that reason I will be returning. It is worth the trip.

Our salesman was Randy Hill, and he was great! He let us shop without "hovering" over and around us. He knows his products well. We were able to test drive two different vehicles of our choosing. Once we decided on "the one" we were able to sit down with Randy and work out a deal that worked for us.
We picked up our Town & Country Touring L yesterday and are extremely satisfied with it. When we arrived, She was spanking clean inside & out, with a full take of gas!!
We will definitely share our experience with others to shop with Randy Hill!!
