I had a very pleasant experience with purchasing my new car from Baldwin Subaru. I was not bothered while browsing and there was no pressure to make a decision right at that moment. They were very easy to work with and it was very refreshing to leave without any uneasy feelings or feeling like I was pressured into any decisions that I was unsure of.

June 9, 2020- I went down to Allstar Ford Lincoln in Prairieville. We had the intentions of purchasing a Ford Explorer stock number PT35696A which was listed on the internet for $22,789. The salesperson said she was going to go see what the best deal she could make was for us. She came back stating the prices was $25,625 and would give us a discount of $2,836. This would now bring us to the adjusted internet prices of $22,789 leaving us no actual discount at all. I ask for an actual discount of $1,500 and they then refused to sell it to me. The manager, Daniel Lafleur, told me I was stupid if I thought he would sell me a car for $1,500. I then responded “ Don’t be a dumb a$$. I’m asking for $1,500 off the sales prices.”
At this point, Daniel told me he would NOT sell me a car. If you are going to give a discount then it needs to come off the price you have the car listed for and not some number you came up with to make people “think” they are getting a “discount”. As a manger, Daniel, you should never use the word stupid when speaking to a client.

The vehicle was towed into service department with a broken left rear axel, service department quoted and installed a complete used rear differential assembly, and failed to properly inspect the used differential which had a bent axle. After picking up the vehicle and bringing back the next day due to the left rear whhel wobbling, was told the replacement axle would be no charge, but we would have to pay for the labor to replace the axle. We were never given an estimate to replace with new parts and was not informed that the was no warranty on labor for the used part. We had no option but to agree to pay the additional labor to get the vehicle fixed and back into operation.

Service department is absolutely terrible. I called on a... - Hunter
Service department is absolutely terrible. I called on a Saturday to make an appointment for service on my truck. Advisor told me to bring in Monday at 7AM. I explained I had to have the truck back for a trip by Thursday. Advisor said no problem- if they didn't have parts needed, they could get them same day or next day. I had half of the parts that I dropped off with the vehicle. A different advisor texted Monday AM, said to text with "anything I may need" while they had the truck. She called around noon with estimate. I gave the go-ahead by leaving two voice mails which were never returned, and a text which was never acknowledged. I called back Tuesday AM to make sure she got the message- she said she did and parts were on the way. I again explained I had to have the truck back Friday morning AT THE LATEST. She said parts would be there Wednesday and truck would be done Wednesday or Thursday. No communication from her on Wednesday, so I texted Thursday with no response. Then I called and got her voice mail again. So I called the main number and spoke to another advisor who said he had to "ask some questions" and would get back to me. I then finally got a call back from original advisor, dancing around question of why the truck was not ready. She then said the parts weren't there yet, but would be there "at 5AM" Friday morning and my truck would be the first job for the tech when he arrived at 7:30AM. I asked for a call to update at 9AM. No call. Tried to call the personal cell phone number she gave on Thursday that "goes straight to her"- went straight to voice mail which was full. Called main number again, got yet another advisor, she said she would find out status and get back with me. Original advisor called back, parts not there, now suddenly they're on FedEx and won't deliver until later on Friday. So, clearly they don't manage their advisors, nor their parts deliveries. This particular advisor blatantly lied about the status of the parts and her ability to have truck ready on time. She wouldn't call back to update me until I had to get other advisors involved. That's ridiculous.

They promised me a deal all they saw was dollar signs. They said the service the car like change oil and filters. The oil looked like it was time to be changed and the air filter was brown. New one would not have had so much brown to it. Not only will I not purchase another vehicle with them I will recommend to anybody that they do not go there either.
