Contacted this dealership twice through their webpage inquiry regarding purchasing a GV70. They never bothered to get back to me. Going to give my business to the next furthest Genesis dealership. Don't need bad customer service before even purchasing a vehicle.

Long story with a happy ending. I own a Genesis G70 and GV80 I purchased at Genesis of South Brunswick and a Kia Stinger I purchased elsewhere. The Kia Stinger and G70 are siblings in the corporate family and have the same mechanical parts. So, I blew a tire and knew did some other damage hitting a hole in the road, and since Kia dealer was so far away and I was on temporary spare, I drove to this dealer to see if they would help.
I was greeted by Johnny in service. Thankfully, he and his management were willing to assist to get the Kia Stinger back up and running. They took the car in with a smile, diagnosed the issues (two rims, a tire, and a wheel alignment) and I even asked them to do an oil change while they had it. Although it took a week to obtain the Kia replacement rims and do the work, the outcome was excellent. Johnny kept me informed along route and met his commitments. They did not have to take in the Kia for repair, especially without prior appointment, but they did and I am very grateful.
My two cents on the recent reviews about not getting calls back. I too had the same experience, but while at the dealer, I observed that they were very busy and not enough people to handle the volume. However, every interaction with a customer I observed was cordial and focused on that customer's needs at that time. I have experienced the non-responsiveness to emails and calls from many other businesses lately, and I have heard much of it is due to a shortage of employees in the midst of a strong economic comeback in which people want new things and services performed. Luckily, I live close to this dealer, so my solution is to simply drive over and talk to someone. When I do, all is well. Since this dealer has done so well for me in the past with service, I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they are simply experiencing the same labor pains as other businesses, and since they have been there for me when I needed them (like in this case), I will return the loyalty and work with them as best I can through these times.
This is simply my point of view and in no way infers judgment on other people's experiences.. Personally, I need to give this dealer kudos for this experience and look forward to future opportunities to do business.

Very disappointed when I was given a price for a GV80 Prestige and made to drive over an hour only to be given a price that was 50% higher. They then brought out their disclaimer flyer to show me all of the fine print. When will dealerships
Be up front. I don’t believe they were fair on my trade offering my several thousand dollars lower. My car is in demand and will sell about 15-20% higher than what they offered. The sales manager advised that I sell the car myself and come back. While they were somewhat nice about it I again was very irritated to have wasted my time going down there for a bait and switch.

I never wrote a bad review in my entire life about any customer service experience, but this dealership forced my hand. I honestly wish I can rate them -5 stars, but regardless here’s my story:
I was recently looking to lease a Genesis G70 3.3t Elite AWD 2020 from Genesis of Wayne in NJ. I had communicated with an internet sales consultant (Clarins Artiles) via text message on 08/06/2020, in which we agreed upon a deal. At this point, she had already reviewed the deal with her sales manager (Jay) and accepted my offer; then told me to visit the dealership to check out the vehicle and sign the deal. I also asked her to provide me with the link to the car on the website, so she did.
Therefore, I left work early the same day and visited the dealership where I was directed to a different sales consultant (Charles), who told me that the car had just been sold to someone else. FYI - the car is still on the website till this day and time between agreeing on the deal and me visiting the dealership was about 6 hours or so.
I was then treated very rudely by the dealership staff when I tried explaining what had happened between me and Clarins; including the sales manager who did not admit it was a go until I showed him the text messages with Clarins as proof. Shortly after reviewing my text messages with Clarins, he agreed to continue with the deal but changed one thing OF COURSE; which I was fine with. Then, I was asked to fill out my information to run a hard inquiry, pick 3 vehicle color options and to put a deposit of $500. He even printed out a summary of our deal and told me to wait a couple of days for his call.
It has now been almost 2 weeks since then and I realized my card was never charged the $500 deposit. So, I have been calling the dealership to speak with the sales manager (Jay) and follow-up on the reason why I was not charged yet, as well as, checking on the status of the vehicle. Every person I have spoken with has taken my name and phone number down to leave a message for him so that he will call me back. I have not received any phone calls despite reaching out multiple times during the past few days.
FINALLY, I was able to get on a call with (Jay) today AND of course his response was that he couldn’t “locate” the car. At this point, I honestly gave up on such xxxxty dealership staff and made me feel “Disgusted”
I have been a huge fan of the Genesis models and I would hate to say that this has been the WORST customer service experience (I guess that’s what happens when you bring Hyundai sales reps to sell you a Genesis model). So if you’re a serious buyer and would like to get a deal, PLEASE for your own sake stay away from this dealership and its staff; especially (Jay, Charles & Clarins)!!!
