I had one of the most frustrating dealership experiences I’ve ever encountered with Burns Buick GMC / Genesis of Cherry Hill. From the start, communication was inconsistent, slow, and unprofessional. I was a serious out-of-state buyer ready to move forward on a BMW 8 Series. All I asked for was a basic walkaround video and confirmation of the vehicle’s condition — something any dealership should provide without hesitation.
My requests were ignored for days or weeks at a time, passed between different salespeople, and always met with vague promises that someone would follow up. They never did. By the time someone finally responded, the pricing wasn’t competitive based on the CARFAX retail value or market comps, especially considering I was dealing with the added costs of an out-of-state purchase.
Despite me making it clear that I was ready to finalize the deal if the vehicle’s condition checked out, they never provided the video or the simple information I requested. After dragging the process out unnecessarily, I eventually got a generic email that “the car is no longer available.” Complete waste of time.
If this is how they treat serious, qualified buyers ready to spend real money, I can only imagine how they treat customers after the sale. Completely disorganized, dismissive, and unprofessional. I would never consider doing business with this dealership again.
