I had a great experience with the service center at Volvo White Plains NY. I worked with John in service who was very professional and prompt, as well as informative. They provide delivery service for your vehicle to be delivered to the service station and will leave you with a loaner vehicle as well. They communicatte with you via text or email or phone call throughout to let you know when vehicle arrives and work begins, what they find and when they finish. They let you know any and all safety concerns and provide routine maintenance as well as any diagnostic concerns for the future. They inform you of repair options and pricing to help you decide, as well as their mechanics recommendations. I was very pleased with the service and would give them an excellent rating as well as recommend them to any volvo owner.

I recently had some extensive work done on my 2006 Volvo S60R approximately two months ago, Service manager Wayne took excellent care of my issues and kept me informed throughout the repairs. He even suggested what repairs might be put off till a later date in order to help with the costs on the immediate problems that had to be addressed. This past Friday I had a problem with my car and had it towed to Smithtown, I received a call today from Dan (service consultant) informing me that my car was ready for pick-up. I can only say that the entire service department have been very professional, answered all my questions and also did an excellent job on all the repairs. Good job by all. Thanks!

I thought maybe I was nitpicking on my previous visit when I noticed some employees and customers in the service area without masks. I felt I couldn’t complete the manufacturer survey without mentionIng this, so I declined the survey altogether and sent an e-mail to the service manager about their COVID practices. No response.
Today, I picked up my car after my latest service and noticed that while masks are worn (although I later did see one staffer with mask down greet another staffer less than a foot apart), there are no plexiglas shields at the counter and all counter slots are open so that customers stand three feet apart and less than two feet from the service advisor. There is no mention at all of car interior sanitizing, so when I get home, I fill the car with a few bursts of Lysol and keep the windows closed for a few hours. I also wiped down the steering wheel and a lot of black stuff came off, so this signals to me that things like wheels and handles may not be wiped at all before the customer retrieves the car.
About a year before COVID struck, I was at this dealership and noticed the entire row of service advisors coughing and sniffling. A couple days later, I had severe flu symptoms and it took me several weeks to fully recover.
All in all, the COVID practices could be much stronger here, especially since the dealership is located in an area with one of our county’s highest infection rates.

Staff tried to put all their energy onto excuses rather than address my concerns. When I raised my voice in frustration Dave took $150 off. i suggested he or colleagues review posted costs and he said “that would take five years”. Well what price for honesty? I shall not return.

I have purchased a 2010 f150 just over a week ago and I'm very disappointed with it! I mentioned when I test drove it it looked like the rear differential was leaking and the gas door did not close they wanted me to bring it back 2 days later after I purchased it to check the leak and fix th ed gas door. so within the 2 days of having it I noticed a clunking noise in the front end so I m eff mentioned that when I brought it in ! They told me the gas door was out of their budget and all seals were sealed properly on the differential and didn't find and thing in the front end 😤, so I wen th home and took gas door out and fixed it in 5 minutes , they couldn't have done that huh . Then realized the tailpipe hanger is gone broken off completely ,so I bought a universal on and hung it up while I was doing that I noticed the rear differential is soaked leaking for sure so I went to the dealer again and have a appointment to bring it in Friday we will see how that works out , and also the noise I was hearing in my front end is just getting louder and louder very dissatisfied very nice ppl though!

I must say my service advisor was AMAZING. Gen T. made it her business to follow up with me upon my vehicles servicing. All I needed was my tires changed and it was such a speedy process and not to mention the free car wash which was fantastic didn't even have to ask. I will for sure be paying my visits to Volvo Cars of Manhattan again. However, the whole staff overall is amazing from Sales to Service. Thank you Volvo Cars Manhattan!!!

Unfortunately this is my second time using their services. They are wonderful. They try and make a terrible situation into a better one as much as they can. They are helpful from the law aspect, to rental to loaner and of course their expertise - the car. Yes sometimes they are difficult to reach but it is worth the trade off in the end. I highly recommend them for their expertise as well as their personalities. A+ to Yossi and Zach and your staff.

After a major incident and a lot of frustration with my first-time maintenance service there(7K/miles), I told myself to never go there again, but because the car needed a service and I had no babysitter at the moment, I had no other choice, but unfortunately to visit them again. Another big mistake.
I had a scheduled appointment for today Feb. 14th at 9.30am. The vehicle ('17 Volvo XC90 T6) needed the firmware update, as well a scheduled 10K maintenance service. I had my two kids with me(1y/o and 3y/o). The vehicle entered their service facility and after all the paperwork prepared by Chris, I realized that I left my wallet at home incl. my driving license (oops..), so we had an agreement with the service rep that I'll go home and come back in 15min.
Once back, I was directed to one of their cashiers who told me that the person who supposed to take care for finalizing the service entry paperwork is away and asked me to wait. So, we went to their lounge area. In almost 20min wait, I was told she's busy with another customer, so I kept waiting to just register the vehicle for service. Later on, I went back to check what’s going on and one of the cashiers who I guess was the one who supposed to take care for my car started yelling at Chris in front of everyone there to stop "doing this" and she stated that most likely she cannot have my vehicle for service and asked to wait again. So I kept waiting...
After all the drama, it was almost 10.45pm. Chris apologized to me for her rude attitude. That same cashier was arrogant, disrespectful and honestly, I was just wondering how come such low-educated person is lucky enough to have a job at Volvo. If I was the manager there such species will be fired on the spot. However, I canceled the service disappointed and left home very upset. Last time the Manager asked me to change my 1st review about them, but this time, I will not be lured with their jokes like gift cars and empty words. The only ethical person there is Scott Rozany. However, I will never ever go back to Bay Ridge Volvo.
These people will never see me again, because they discriminate, mistreat and disrespect their customers. Terrible customer service by arrogant cashiers, really made me think about Volvo's customer's loyalty. Volvo Cars America must know what kind of miserable service Bay Ridge Volvo is offering to its valuable customers and take action, immediately.
