I must tell you, I had a very rewarding experience at Smithtown Hertz and I owe it to my salesman Lawrence, and the General Manager Jason. Both guys bent over backwards to help me select the right car and once I did, I loved it so much, I bought it. They were super helpful and professional. If you need a car, ask for Lawrence or Jason. My only qualm is with Hertz. They withheld my second key. How are my wife and I supposed to get by on one key? We are petitioning hertz for a second key or reimbursement on the cost of a second key from Nissan.

We drove into Big Al's Auto Outlet just to turn around. We were looking for a small pick up and saw a Tacoma over in the corner so we took a look and decided to go in and get the price. We met Mathew, a very pleasant young man, who answered all our questions with honesty and no pressure. after learning more about our need he suggested we look at a Nisan Frontier. It turned out to be perfect for us and it came with a lifetime power train warrantee from Goldstein. After driving the truck, which is awesome, and engaging in a little negotiating we came to a respectable deal. There was never any pressure during our transaction and the information we received in response to questions was always very complete and honest. I have never had such a great experience shopping for a used vehicle. If you are shopping for a new or used vehicle go to Big Al's. You will like the visit and are very likely to leave with the car of your dreams. Do it. You will not be disappointed. Thanks for the opportunity to respond.

While anyone would be skeptical of a used car dealer, as I definitely was, and with issues that did come up that could have easily made me walk away, both Richie and Paul definitely made good on their promises in delivering a beautiful Volvo to me. Even after some basic scratches and dents were repaired, both Richie and Paul went above and beyond to ensure the car was 100%. You'll even get to enjoy their slap stick humor in the showroom as they try to make any stressful purchase of a car a bit more calm. Even down to the delivery, when my insurance agent only had a flip phone and couldn't send documents, they both worked through it all. It's only day 1 after delivery so I am hoping that their commitment follows through in the days to come. Only suggestion,... get a working 1980's fax machine please.....

Stay away from this dealership.I Havana 2025 Buick Enclave that is a great vehicle and sales person was great, the dealership however is a different story. The status of the vehicle was showing 18 per cent left on the front brakes. Davidson’s wanted $300.00 for new pads but the guy I hired to check them got the pads force less than a third of that. When he pulled the wheels tgr brake pads looked like new, he said the status on the dash needed to be updated but he said the dealer would have to do it. I called Davidsons and they were going to charge me a diognostic fee when it only had 19000 miles on it. I won’t ever buy another vehicle from them.

I had the best experience buying my first car at Performance Auto (and I'm in my 30s...). Sean was patient, kind, helpful and was phenomenally service-oriented. They went out of their way to provide great service (ie picking me up from the train, answering all of my questions, taking the car to the manufacturer to have the recalls closed out, etc), and were phenomenally easy to work with. Their pricing was transparent - they do not charge any of the hidden fees that other used car dealers typically surprise you with - and negotiating with them was fair and fact based. I would highly recommend working with them again!

Owner is rude and obnoxious to deal with - Not worth the risk, look for a car anywhere but here - do your homework - long history of same story over and over -it's out there folks - just sayin :) $13,600 car didn't even make it home off the lot. Paid $5,600 in repairs in order to obtain a LEGAL Inspection Sticker. As I get so many compliments on my car now, happy to pay extra for the huge car magnets letting people know just where and who screwed me over PAUL ROBERTS, works like a charm!
