Anyone who knows me, knows how much I hate buying cars. They also know that I rarely write reviews. Despite that, my recent purchase from Dan Martin's Auto Depot makes me what to share my experience. Our 1998 V70 served us well for the past 20 years, but had some issues that would prevent it from passing NYS inspection. I decided to look at possible replacements. Initially, I was thinking about picking up a 2-3 year old car, but wasn’t crazy about the current styles. Looking on-line, I happened upon a 2007 V70 at Dan Martin's that looked like it checked all of the boxes. The mileage was low for its age, the condition seemed perfect, it appeared to be well maintained, and the long roof wagon provided lots of room for our two dogs. I don’t make car buying decisions very fast, so I mulled it over for a while before contacting Dan Martin's about its availability (and asking my wife for permission to consider it). Peter promptly replied and sent me a link with loads of pictures that clearly showed the car’s condition. He told me that they had carefully gone over the car and what parts they replaced. The free CarFax showed that the car had been carefully maintained by its previous two owners. The ‘problem’?—I live about 300 miles away from Yonkers, outside Rochester, NY. I toyed with taking the bus or train down to Yonkers to see it and possibly drive it back. Peter was so easy to deal with, that I had confidence to buy the car, without seeing it in person. I wired the money, Peter found a very reasonable shipper to truck it to me, and a few days later, the car was in my driveway. The car was exactly as described, if not better. I feel like I have a new car, at a fraction of the cost. I told Peter, that he made the entire sales process to be as easy as buying something on Amazon. After buying this car, I may not wait another 20 years to buy my next. I highly recommend, without hesitation, Dan Martin's Auto Depot and especially, Peter. For me, it was a welcome change to the car buying experience.

This past week I flew into JFK airport with members from my church in Denver. We had made arrangements for a 12 passenger van. When we arrived at the airport we called the rental office and Dexter the store manager sent someone to the terminal to pick us up with all of our luggage. As we were loading the luggage and the people from our group we realized just how tight it was going to be in the van for all of us. Upon our arrival to the Holiday Inn where the office is located we were offered an upgrade to the 15 passenger to better accommodate us and our luggage. The entire experience was very pleasant and the upgrade made the entire trip very pleasurable. Dexter even had GPS navigation put in the van to better assist in getting from the airport to our destination in New Jersey. The trip was great success and I feel we owe a great deal of thanks to Dexter and Pam Rent a Car

Felice showed us several cars that my wife was not excited about, so he said he would call us in a couple of days if he found something she might like. I purchased a 2012 Ford Focus from this Dealership 9/2/2021. Service Engine Light kept coming back on. I have brought the car back to him 5 times. The front end shudders when accelerating and there was an issue when the car was shifting gears. This time he had the car for 3 weeks. He said his transmission mechanic was backed up.I am very dissatisfied with this dealership. He said his mechanic reprogrammed the TCM and they reset the Service Engine Light. The car seems to be changing gears better. However on 11/24, the Service Engine Light came back on. Nothing but problems with his service. I finally took the car to a Ford Dealership near my house. They had to Reprogram the PCM. The sudder went away and the transmission laboring when you slowed down when making turns went away. The check engine light is the vapor management valve. Overall not a bad car for the money. I just wish the ACA dealer could of resolve the problem. I wasted many days bringing the car back to him. And I did not have use of the car for 3 weeks.

I went to this dealership after almost being bamboozled by Superior Motors in Great Neck, NY. Cars were very similar in price but Superior Motors vehicle had an extra 13K miles and been in an accident . The dealer and financial representative at Auto Gallery were forthright with all information and did not try to swindle me. They gave me a great deal on a CPO Mercedes-Benz and the extended warranty option was great also and cheaper with more years then what Superior Motors was offering and they were offering the same GWC warranty. I was treated correctly and nothing they discussed changed during the signing of the contract unlike the other spot. I am grateful that they didn't play any games and made my life easier. Pricing was fair and respected how they perform business.

STAY AWAY BE WARNED - Guzzii

Although the buying process was pleasant, I had a miserable experience with this dealership overall. I purchased an 2010 Audi A4 with a little less than 50k miles in June 2013. As we all know, german cars tend to encounter issues after the factory warranty expires. Along the vehicle, I also got an extended warranty from them that covers engine, transmission and electronics. And the dealer told it can be cancelled anytime you want. THIS DEALER SELLS YOU PROBLEMATIC CARS. After driving it for 1 month, the car started to have problems in its engine which I didn’t expected that soon. By now, the car has been in the shop for more than 15 times. The shop I went to is an Audi dealer. They helped me use factory warranty to cover the biggest bill of those even when the car had 53000+ miles, which basically replaced half of the parts in the engine. After the repair, they asked me to run a 2000 mile break-in. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY THE DEALER SOLD DOESN’T DO xxxx. The first time I went to an Audi dealer to have my car checked, I got rejected by the extended warranty company claiming the part was not covered. I figured it might be something happened to not being covered. However, none of the following repairs were accepted by the extended warranty company. Even factory warranty was able to help me a bit when the car was actually out of it, the extended one that I paid $3700 did absolutely nothing but providing rejections. THE DEALER FOOLS AS IF YOU WERE AN IDIOT. I called up the dealer and ask for a full refund of the extended warranty in March of 2014. They refused to do that. Then I called Consumer Complains and Protection (CCP), and they were very concerned about my situation and wanted me to file a claim if I can’t work something out with the dealer. So I made very clearly to the dealership that I require a full refund on the extended warranty ($3690+ tax), otherwise I will file a claim with CCP. And I began to record every phone call with the dealer in the shadow. They suddenly becomes much nicer, and said: “Yeah. Whatever you paid will be refunded to you.” It was May, 2014. In the following 6 months, I emailed them every 2 or 3 weeks to check what was the status with the cancellation. They had so many excuses why the process was so slow, and even conflicting things in the replies in the email. But I was still patient and wanted to give them a chance to make it right. Finally, the process is complete on Nov 14th. And the dealer told me the refund is going to be only $702. They just eat their own word on your face. If you are going to do it, why do you agree in the first place! There are much more stupid things they did that I don’t even want to talk about. What a waste of my time and patience!! Now I am filing the claim and providing CCP all the phone call records and emails. At this point, I don’t care how much money I will get back. I want to let you guys know what you can expect from this dealer. The bottom line: THINK TWICE and BE CAREFUL, if you don’t want to get into trouble.
