The service department has always been great. This time, the weather was bad and it was storming. There is a drive-through so you don’t get wet. Some clueless customer decided to park part way in so no one else could get under shelter. I told him that he “might” want to pull forward, but clueless is clueless. One of the service advisors told him to move his truck in and he finally did. I was already wet by then. There were a lot of people needing service that day, and I was used to having my service done same day. It wasn’t, but I was kept informed by Robert as to what was happening and why. Having 51 years in management and customer relations, I often taught that keeping customers fully informed—no surprises—was a baseline foundation for a good experience. Lee practices that, and I appreciated keeping kept informed. Not every service in any business goes 100% according to plan, but being honest and keeping your customers informed is the best way to acquire and keep customers. They do a great job.
