I tried really hard not to leave a bad review after such a glowing review I had for my sales experience, but I've given the service department 3 times to prove that they aren't having a bad day and that I'm not black balled because I sent a concerning email about the service I received to the service manager (who never bothered to respond to my email) but if I can save others the headache, I will. As previously stated, my sales experience was phenomenal. My service experience, however, has been the worst service I've ever encountered. Most recently, I had an issue with my tpms system where it keeps saying low tire pressure. Took it to them because I purchased a warranty that covered tires. They inspected and found nothing wrong. Two days later, the message appears again. I took it to Discount Tire and they found a hole in the tire within 10 minutes. Scheduled an appointment with Carolina VW for tomorrow at 730 am. Mark Smith from the service department calls me at 250 pm asking if I can possibly come this afternoon because they're booked solid. I said sure, it'll take me 30 to 45 minutes to get there. I finally got there and the service advisor asked what was going on and I explained the issue...he proceeds to say "discount tire could fix it?" To which I responded that I wasn't going to pay them to fix it when it was still under warranty. He argued with me that tires weren't covered under warranty and finally decided to pull my paperwork and confirmed what I had been trying to tell him was true. He then says that they didn't have my tire in stock and it would be next week before they could replace. At this point, I'm livid. I tell him I'm tired of wasting my time coming here to which he replied that had I called before coming they would have told me it wasn't in stock. Talk about adding insult to injury. I nicely told him that they were the ones that called ME and told me to come today. There was absolutely no remorse by either service advisor and its almost to the point that I feel they're either racist, sexist, or they are intentionally have me waste time and trips all the way across town. Needless to say, I regret my purchase and will never buy another vehicle from here. The service department is the worst and I wish I could have my warranty transferred somewhere else to avoid ever having to step foot in that place again. Buyer beware!!!

I have visited this dealership almost a half dozen times... - Mistreated
I have visited this dealership almost a half dozen times because of a service issue with my VW Touareg. The service department had my vehicle on three separate occasions and could not properly diagnose or repair my vehicle. I ended up paying for parts that were not causing the problem, only to take my car home and have it operate the same. They continued to tell me they were doing what VW suggested because they could not identify the problem. Not only was the dealership incompetent but they were extremely unprofessional.
Most recently I had to go back because someone from the dealership was driving my vehicle on a toll road and I received two sets of charges (approximately a half dozen) on my vehicle. I notified the service manager and he told me to bring the notices back to the dealership to be reimbursed. When I had to make another trip to take care of this issue, there were several employees in the service department manager's office talking. As I stood at the desk for almost 10 minutes none of them acknowledged my presence or asked if I needed assistance. Another technician walked in and behind the desk without doing the same.
The last time my vehicle was there I notified the technician (Thomas) that each time I picked up my vehicle there was significantly less gas than when I picked it up. He proceeded to explain that they needed to drive my vehicle to properly diagnose it. I told him that I should not have a half or quarter tank less while you diagnose my vehicle. When he called to notify me my vehicle was ready, he also told me there was an extra charge for them filling my gas tank. I told him that I did not notify or authorize him to fill my tank and was not going to pay for it. He then rudely told me if I was not going to pay for it, he would have his technician go to my vehicle and take the gas out of my vehicle. I told the Service Manager about our confrontation and told him that Thomas could no longer provide any type of service to my vehicle. I've spoken with the Dealership Manager (Jason) about my initial concerns and have made almost a dozen failed attempts to contact him since then. He appears to not be interested, have buffers to keep customers from reaching him or this is a culture that is encouraged at his dealership. Verlinda has been the only bright spot each time I have visited this establishment but I fear my concerns are either above her pay grade or out of her hands. I now have to travel more than an hour from my home to have my vehicle serviced. If you are considering using this dealership, I strongly suggest you reconsider!!!!!

Above and Beyond! - smh
My 2007 Forester required a pretty complicated diagnostic and the service team at Flow led by service advisor Nolan stuck with it until the problem was located and resolved. Courteous and attentive throughout, the level of attention received was way beyond my expectation, actually the best I've ever experienced in a dealership. My highest recommendations to Flow!
Great customer service - Ricky
I have been taking my Volkeswagons to Frema for service since 2001. The service staff have always been professional, given me updates on the appointment if I'm waiting, offered to take me places, provided a loaner car if the service is extensive, and answered any questions I've had. The sales staff is friendly, asks about any needs the service customer might have while waiting. I've never felt pressured or hounded about buying a new car, trading my current vehicle, or upgrading. They go above and beyond, from repairing a sudden problem without an appointment [re: window wouldn't go up as we were leaving for a week vacation], brought our dog a bowl of water when unexpectedly we had to stop for an issue one summer, gave me a loaner to get home (30 min away) when a car I was driving (not mine, not a VW) suddenly died at 7pm one night and I was near the dealership. The GM and the staff have my business!

When I call for an appointment I always ask for John because I know I'll receive excellent service. He is very friendly and very knowledgeable and takes good care of me and my Touareg.

I had a tire blowout and live far away from an Audi dealership. Audi arranged for a tow and Pecheles was able to replace tire, handle 3 safety recalls, fix the check engine light being illuminated, and investigated the EPC light coming on intermittently, which causes the engine to die. I'm not happy with my Audi (the car is a year old and one wheel is on its third tire), but I am happy with the service at Pecheles.
POOR Service Department - Atlas
Late review from service appointment that occurred in July. I sent my wife in for the service appointment due to my not getting off from work. She requested the tires be rotated and the clerk attempted to charge 39.95 contrary to the internet advertised price of 24.95. I called and spoke to the service manager and she reduced the price to the advertised price. After my wife came home from the appt, I reviewed the paperwork and realized that there was a recall on the second row seat for the buckles not securing that was not complied with. The invoice stated "that the customer was aware that there was a recall and will reschedule at a later time." (At NO time was my wife notified that there was a recall.) I called the service manager, Beverly Garten, again and spoke to her about the recall and why it was not done which she stated was an oversight and it was a simple visual inspection. When I asked if I could bring it in again in the near future, she stated I would need to make an appointment. I told her that I would not be making another appointment at her dealership for service.
I have since had to drive to FLOW VW WILMINGTON and have had impeccable service.
Don't waste your time at National VW with their incompetent staff.
BTW, I was not asked for a review of their service afterward.
