I wish I listened to my gut and talked my husband out... - Robin B
I wish I listened to my gut and talked my husband out driving almost 2 hours for a test drive. He saw their ad online for a Chevy Trail Boss selling for a way to good amount to be believed. So he scheduled a test drive for this past Saturday. Should have known something was up when he got a call in the morning from the dealership stating that they sold all of the trucks listed online but had more coming in and do we still want to come for a test drive. Of course hubby said yes. So we made the trek down. Got there and immediately was ushered to a "sales" desk with a "sales person" to start talking about what we were looking for. I thought okay this is normal but when we sat there for 45 mins after the "sales person" went to find the "sales manager" I thought something was up. So this "sales manager" came over and sat down and started to discuss numbers. First thing I noticed was that the price he had on the paper where not what was advertised. I pointed that out and he said "well all of those trucks have sold" I pointed out that according the the dealership's website, the price stated was good until June 30, 2021. His comment was, "let me see what I can do" and hubby asked if we can at least test drive a truck. We were told they didn't have any Trail Bosses on site but did have another model. Well a truck is a truck so we test drove that one and actually liked it. So, we got back to the dealership and sat and waited for the "sales manager" to come back with revised numbers. Well he came back and yes the number was revised by $2k. So we asked about the truck that we just test drove (mind you the price for this truck was already listed on their website) his response was to have the "sales person" provide him with the vehicle number and he would see what he could do. We sat there for another 45 mins while our "sales person" was waiting in line to get our "pricing". We were already there for almost 3 hours. We got up and told the "sales person" we had to go because we had to be somewhere and we walked out. Now if they were serious about trying to make the sale, I would have expected someone to come after us but nope. So basically this dealership is more into volume sales than on customer service and honoring the price on their website. This is a prime example of "bait and switch" sales. I do not recommend going to this dealership for anything because as the saying goes "if it looks to good to be true, then it's not true". Mind you this review is nothing against Chevy at all. I do like Chevy trucks.
Spoke with Breanna who set me up for an appt with Kevin... - mls
Spoke with Breanna who set me up for an appt with Kevin and Michael. After having a very bad experience with the one in Hazleton, and I do mean very bad, would never deal with them again. Kevin, Michael and Curt and Mr. Alexander himself were incredible. They helped us out in one day! We were dealing with Hazleton for months regarding a vehicle we bought there. Would highly recommend dealing with Kevin and Michael again. Wonderful people, very polite and helpful. Fast service! Mr. Alexander thank you too!!!
My husband and I appreciate very much everything you did for us.

They sold someone a 2005 Grand Prix who is now upside down to the tune of 8000.00
How could someone take advantage of someone like that? We showed the deal to car dealer who of course laughed at least they were honest. I think the response was wow you are feeding someones family well.

This is the 4th vehicle that I've bought from Cotters..They took extra time to make sure the vehicle was ready for a holiday trip before I left..The effort earned them tops in the St Marys Area from me!
They are inept and dishonest. The whole long story boils... - milesist
They are inept and dishonest. The whole long story boils down to -- they claimed they did work that they didn't do (for hundreds of dollars), didn't fix the car, were nasty about it (that idiot Glenn Davis deserves to go out of business). In the end, the credit card company investigated, found fraud, and gave us our money back. They are liars and cheats and we've told everyone where NOT to go for a crappy American-made car. No wonder they're in bankruptcy. Toyota and Honda are the only way to go!

On April 24, Paul Morgan showed me a 1995 Honda Accord Ex briefly right before they closed. On April 26, I went to Faulkner Pontiac Harrisburg again. Because Paul Morgan was off that day, I talked with another sales representatives (I don't remember his name) and had a deal for that 1995 Honda Accord Ex. They also helped me filed a finance application that day for part of my payment, $3,000. Before I left there, I was told that Paul Morgan, or the guy who helped me fill in my finance application, would call me on April 27 to let me know whether my application get approval or not, and then they would offer the car information for me to buy insurance for the car if I get approved. But I waited for the whole day on April 27 and did not hear from them at all. So I stepped back in today (April 28), and surprisingly found that the car was sold at higher price than I offered. I was so disappointed at their irresponsible behaviour and it hurts my feelings. At least they should inform me immediately when they get another offer for the car. Even in my opinion, I don't think that they should show other customers the car which we had a deal already. I just couldn't believe that a big company like Faulkner Pontiac Harrisburg has no professional spirit for the service at all. I was very, very disappointed of this very unpleasant purchasing experience. That hurts badly to my trust for this dealership.
Outstanding customer service - 673rent
I just left this dealership and purchased a new 2019 GMC Dinali truck. Father and son as well as finance manager took care of us from a to Z. I have nothing but great things to say about this dealership, would highly recommend them! Zero pressure sales, did a fantastic job and put the deal together in record time!
Best car buying experience. - Dawn
This was my first experience with this dealership and I was pleasantly surprised. The price I was quoted over the internet for the SUV I inquired about never changed when I got to the dealership. Every other place I had gone to would change their story once I got there, can't give the incentive and 0%, you get one or the other...you know, the typical old song and dance everyone goes through. But at this place, I got both, the incentive and the 0% financing....and they gave me exactly what I thought my car was worth right from the start! It was my best car buying experience ever. I recommend them highly.
