I rarely post reviews but feel compelled to do so regarding Volunteer Chevrolet’s service department. The reason I’m posting this review at this time is that I heard some folks were complaining about the length of time Volunteer was taking to repair their vehicles. In truth, it took over a month for Volunteer to start working on my truck but, as opposed to getting angry, I became curious as to why. I started paying attention to the news and learned 50,000 Chevrolet auto union workers went on strike 9-16-19 so were unable to supply their dealerships with parts because they were busy picketing, as opposed to working. Consequently, it should be a no-brainer that no one can repair a vehicle without parts. I suspect Chevy mechanics and staff everywhere across the Nation were more than frustrated during this troublesome time. Back in 2000 I bought a brand-new Chevy S-10 4x4 ZR-2 pickup truck right off the showroom floor. I love it now as much as I did then. For 20 years only ‘Volunteer’ mechanics have worked on my truck and, no matter what the problem was, they never failed to fix it. The service manager, Paul, is a tremendous asset to this company. His coordination efforts are top-notch, as are his ‘people’ skills. Both of Paul’s qualities serve Chevy well. Under normal circumstances Paul has always scheduled my vehicle for repairs in a very efficient and timely manner. During the ‘strike’ he did his best to keep me hopeful that it would end soon. The parts department has consistently gone above and beyond to find obscure parts for my now vintage truck. I understand Steve in the parts department is relatively new on the job but has already provided me with exceptional service. He seems to be very organized and has extensive knowledge as to parts for even older models and, to me, this is everything when it comes to the needs of my old truck. Fortunately, some of Volunteer’s mechanics have the knack and know-how to work on older vehicles. It seems Ricky is one of those specialists and I really appreciate his having the knowledge and skill required to do the job. His skills are becoming rarer and rarer to find in this technological day and age and Chevy is lucky to have snagged him. The strike was officially over 10-25-19 so Chevy is back to repairing vehicles. Volunteer Chevrolet has always done right by me and my truck and I’m certain there are a lot of other satisfied customers out there who feel the same. I give Volunteer the highest ‘star’ rating possible. 5+

AL contacted me less than 24 hours after posting my previous review regarding my 2018 Titan. If I would’ve spoken to him I can assure you my review would’ve been drastically different. He genuinely cared about the problems with my truck. He sent a flatbed to tow my vehicle to their dealership (at no expense) for their mechanic to attempt to resolve any issues with it. I can’t recommend him enough and anyone concerned with anything should ask for him.

My service needs were met with greater quality of ,CAREING FOR MY NEEDS, than at any other location I have ever used. You can guide a horse to water but, you can't make him drink. Such is hiring an individual to work as a service person in any business.They will work to keep employment,however,service businesses need committed individuals who in their greeting asks how may I help you?Wolfchase Nissan has that individual, RUSTY HINES. His is more than a word as his efforts are put into action,helping to fulfill the requests of the customer.I'm sure there are other service personnel, however,I had the best ever and will return for any needs on my vehicle for Rusty Hines to make my day great. I took my Pathfinder in for 15000 mile oil change, etc., and also had the inside detailed. Dacoda Guy is the service person I usually work with and he is awesome!!!! He is always very helpful and extremely courteous. My car looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor!!!! I highly recommend Dacoda Guy and Dutch Miller Nissan.

Outstanding Service and Compassionate Team This past weekend, my college-aged son and his friends found themselves stranded late Friday night multiple states away from home due to a broken water pump. With college classes starting Monday, they needed to get back home by Sunday. First thing Saturday morning, we called Chuck Hutton Toyota and were fortunate to speak with Brian Hicks, the Service Drive Manager. Brian was nothing short of amazing—kind, understanding, and proactive about the situation. Thanks to Brian’s exceptional coordination, the car was repaired that same day, and my son was back on the road by 1 PM. Everyone we encountered, from the parts department to the service department, was incredibly helpful and professional. Even though this dealership isn’t local to us, I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in the area. Thank you, Brian, and the entire Chuck Hutton Toyota team, for turning a stressful situation into a positive experience!

In 2021, i took my truck to get the transmission fluid - payne818

In 2021, i took my truck to get the transmission fluid changed. Being a Ford dealership, I assumed correct Ford Motorcraft fluid would be used. Now 35k miles later, my truck has developed transmission problems. When i pulled out my receipt from Homer Skelton Ford, I realized that not only did they not service my truck with Ford Mercon LV fluid as Ford directs, but they used a bargain brand BG non LV fluid(BG even offers an LV fluid 315 but they did not used it. 314 is regular synthetic). I called Homer Skelton service department 3 days ago to inform them of this problem and was told they would call me back. Still no call back.
